Toxicity of Four 4 Pesticides to Brachydanio Rerio and Safety Evaluation

Abstract:[Objective] to study the toxicity of 4 pesticides to Brachydanio Rerio, and provide evidence for safety use.[Methods]With the Brachydanio Rerio as tested material, the acute toxicity of 4 pesticides were detected in the laboratory by the semi-static method and their safety evaluation was made.[Results]LC 50 of 93% acetochlor was 0.35 mg/L which belonged to high toxicity grade. LC 50 for 96 hours of 1.8% abamectin EW, 50% acetochlor EC and 25% prochloraz EC was 1.08 mg/L, 5.45 mg/L, and 5.81 mg/L , respectively which belonged to moderate toxicity grade.[Conclusion]The study provides basic information and scientific basis for the safety and rational use of the pesticides.
