Abstract:A strong convergence theorem in the setting of Banach spaces was proved by the virtue of the Halpern′s iterative algorithm.The results improve and extende the corresponding recent results of Guo′s and others′.

Abstract:In this paper,we consider an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a relatively nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of the variational inclusion for an inverse-strongly accretive mapping and m-accretive mapping in a real Banach space.Then we show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of two sets.

Abstract:Some strong convergence theorems of explicit composite iteration scheme for nonexpansive semi-groups in the framework of Banach spaces are established.Results presented in the paper not only extend and improve the corresponding results of Shioji- Takahashi,Suzuki,Xu and Aleyner-Reich,but also give a partially affirmative answer to the open questions raised by Suzuki and Xu.

Abstract:In this paper, some properties of the generalized f-projection operator are proved in Banach spaces. Using these results, the strong convergence theorems for relatively nonexpansive mappings are studied in Banach spaces. As applications, the strong convergence of general H-monotone mappings in Banach spaces is also given. The results presented in this paper generalize and improve the main results of Matsushita and Takahashi (2005) [9].

Abstract:In this article, we propose and investigate several iterative methods for approximating fixed points of a firmly nonexpansive-type mapping and for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of the firmly nonexpansive-type mapping and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem in Banach space. By using the conception of generalized projection, strong convergence theorems for firmly nonexpansive-type mappings and equilibrium problems in Banach space are established under suitable assumptions, which extend and modify some known results in the literature.

Abstract:The purpose of this article is to prove strong convergence theorems for common fixed points of two closed hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. In order to get the strong convergence theorems, the monotone hybrid algorithms are presented and are used to approximate the common fixed points. Finally, a new simplified hybrid algorithm has been proposed and relative convergence theorem has been proved by using the new method for proofs. Abstract:Consider a nonexpansive self-mapping T of a bounded closed convex subset of a Banach space. Banach's contraction principle guarantees the existence of approximating fixed point sequences for T. However such sequences may not be strongly convergent, in general, even in a Hilbert space. It is shown in this paper that in a real smooth and uniformly convex Banach space, appropriately constructed approximating fixed point sequences can be strongly convergent.
