Abstract:In this paper,we introduce an iterative algorithm for finding the common solutions of generalized equilibrium problems and fixed points problem of nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert spaces.And we prove a strong convergence theorem.The result presented mainly improves on the corresponding results reported.

Abstract:In this paper, common solutions to an equilibrium problem and a nonlinear operator equation involving a finite family of asymptotically quasi-ϕ-nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense are discussed. Abstract:In this paper, we investigate iterative methods for solving generalized mixed equilibrium problems, split feasibility problems, and fixed point problems in Banach spaces. We introduce a new extragradient algorithm using the generalized metric projection and prove a strong convergence theorem for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings, the set of solutions to the split feasibility problem, the set of fixed points of a resolvent operator, and the set of solutions of the generalized mixed equilibrium problem. The algorithm is analyzed in a real 2-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach space, taking into account computational errors. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the applicability and performance of the proposed method.

Abstract:In this paper, we present two modified algorithms for finding a common element of the solution set of a quasimonotone variational inequality and the fixed point set of demicontractive mapping. The main advantage of such iterative methods is that it does not require Lipschitz continuity and the mapping only needs to be quasimonotonicity. Therefore, our algorithms can be applied to more general variational inequalities. Several numerical experiments are provided to verify the preponderance and efficiency of the proposed algorithms.

Abstract:We firstly construct generalized Baskakov operators Vn,α,q(f;x) and their truncated sum Bn,α,q(f;γn,x). Secondly, we study the pointwise convergence and the uniform convergence of the operators Vn,α,q(f;x), respectively, and estimate that the rate of convergence by the operators Vn,α,q(f;x) is 1/nq/2. Finally, we study the convergence by the truncated operators Bn,α,q(f;γn,x) and state that the finite truncated sum Bn,α,q(f;γn,x) can replace the operators Vn,α,q(f;x) in the computational point of view provided that limn→∞nγn=∞.

Abstract:In this paper, we propose an inertial iterative method for solving a common solution to the fixed point and mixed equilibrium problem in Hilbert spaces. We prove the sequence generated by the proposed algorithm strongly converges to an element in the solution set of mixed equilibrium problems of a pair of bi-function, which is also the solution to a fixed point of demicontractive mapping. Finally, we give some numerical experiments to support our main result. Our result extends and generalizes some earlier announced results in the literature.

Abstract:Let E be a real Banach space and let D be a nonempty closed convex subset of E , let be a continuous weak generalized φ -hemicontractive mapping. The existence theorem of a fixed point of a weak generalized φ -pseudocontractive mapping is obtained. And we also prove that implicit Mann and Ishikawa iterations converge strongly to the unique fixed point of T . Our results extend the corresponding results of Xiang (Nonlinear Anal. 70(6): 2277-2279, 2009). MSC: 47H09, 47J25.

Abstract:We consider a system of pseudomonotone equilibrium problem and split common fixed point problem in the framework of real Hilbert spaces. We propose a modified extragradient method with line searching technique for approximating a common element in the sets of solutions of the two nonlinear problems. The convergence result is proved without prior knowledge of the Lipschitz-like constants of the equilibrium bifunctions and the norm of the bounded linear operator of the split common fixed point problem. We further provide some application and numerical example to show the importance of the obtained results in the paper.

Abstract:In this work, we establish the closedness and convexity of the set of fixed points of equally continuous and asymptotically demicontractive mapping in the intermediate sense. We proposed an inertial hybrid projection technique for determining an approximate common solution to three significant problems. The first is the system of generalized mixed equilibrium problems with relaxed η−ζ monotone mappings, the second is the problem of fixed points of a countable family of equally continuous and asymptotically demicontractive mappings in the intermediate sense, and the third is of determining a point in a null space of a countable family of inverse strongly monotone mappings in Hilbert space. Based on these problems, we formulate a theorem and establish its strong convergence to their common solution. Additionally, we studied the applications of our algorithm to variational inequality problems and convex optimization problems. Finally, we numerically demonstrate the efficiency and robustness of our scheme. Several results available in the literature can be obtained as special cases of our result.

Abstract:We discuss the approximation method of finding a common fixed point of two certain mappings defined on a Banach space. This paper deals with three modes of convergence, namely, weak, strong, and △‐convergences in the presence of the uniform convexity of the norm. It is worth mentioning that the △‐convergence which is closely connected with the weak convergence is discussed without assuming the Opial's condition. Our results not only generalize the results recently announced by Garodia et al. but also rectify a gap in their paper. Finally, some concrete numerical examples are shown that our results are genuine generalizations of a number of results in the literature.

Abstract:The primary goal of this paper is to find a common solution of a split null point problem, split variational inequality problem and fixed point problem for a nonexpansive semigroup with the help of new type of iterative algorithm. We construct that the sequences induced by the proposed iterative method to solve the above stated problems in the setting of real Hilbert spaces and obtain a strong convergence theorem. We also deduce certain consequences from the main convergence result. At the end, we provide a numerical experiment to demonstrate the convergence analysis of proposed iterative method. The methodology and conclusion described in this work extend and unify previously published findings in this field.

Abstract:The notions of Lipschitz conditions with L average are introduced to the study of convergence analysis of Gauss–Newton’s method for singular systems of equations. Unified convergence criteria ensuring the convergence of Gauss–Newton’s method for one kind of singular systems of equations with constant rank derivatives are established and unified estimates of radii of convergence balls are also obtained. Applications to some special cases such as the Kantorovich type conditions, γ-conditions and the Smale point estimate theory are provided and some important known results are extended and/or improved.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove some theorems related to properties of generalized symmetric hybrid mappings in Banach spaces. Using Banach limits, we prove a fixed point theorem for symmetric generalized hybrid mappings in Banach spaces. Moreover, we prove some weak convergence theorems for such mappings by using Ishikawa iteration method in a uniformly convex Banach space.

Abstract:Inexact proximal point methods are extended to find singular points for multivalued vector fields on Hadamard manifolds. Convergence criteria are established under some mild conditions. In particular, in the case of proximal point algorithm, that is, ε _n=0 for each n , our results improve sharply the corresponding results in Li et al. ( 2009 ). Applications to optimization problems, variational inequality problems and gradient methods are also given.

Abstract:Recently, CQ method has been investigated extensively. However, it is mainly applied to modify Mann, Ishikawa and Halpern iterations to get strong convergence. In this paper, we study the properties of CQ method and proposed a framework. Based on that, we obtain a series of strong convergence theorems. Some of them are the extensions of previous results.
