Abstract:The purpose of this study is to summarize the underlined progress of land science related research published in Nature andScience from 2000 to 2016, and to provide the outlook for the leading edge of land science in these two magazines. The method of literature review is applied in this paper. The results show that 1)land resource protection, ecological effects of land use, land carbon emissions, effects of urbanization, farmland intensive utilization and land management strategies are the major concerns on land science related topics ofNature andScience; 2)These two magazines mainly devote to the global land issues, involving diversified data and multidisciplinary research methods characterized by originality, importance and crossing. It is concluded that global natural resource mapping and accounting, global land change mapping and monitoring, global farmland use program, interrelationship between land and social-ecologic system and novel strategic system for land administration should be the underlined direction for land science in nearly future.

Synoptic Identification of Frontier Literature in Resilience Oriented Emergency Management Field:Tracking Representative SSCI Articles and Summarizing Relevant Research Methods

Abstract:In recent years, "resilience" has gradually become a hot word in the research field of emergency management. In order to objectively identify relevant representative SSCI articles and discover potential law from literature to provide enlightenment for Chinese scholars,this paper tracked representative SSCI articles through utilizing the functions provided by Web of Science. The overall literature trend was depicted,and highly cited articles and major journals in this field were identified by analyzing relevant statistical indexes. Accordingly,the list of representative literature was obtained via a relatively more objective way. Comments were briefly made on research methods of the representative literature. This paper found that qualitative research plays a prominent role in the special development stage of this field. The laws about research modes, method selection and word frequency were summarized. This work contributes to facilitating a better understanding for domestic scholars on the frontier of this emerging field of research.

Abstract:Emergy-related studies have been widely conducted worldwide in order to evaluate the total environmental support and sustainability of one system from both natural and economic sides. Aiming to depict the characteristics of emergy-related literatures, recognize global research foci, and forecast future research directions, a complete review on the related research progresses by using a bibliometric analysis approach was performed in this study. H-index is applied to evaluate the influence of most productive journals, countries/territories, and institutions in emergy-related fields. Social network analysis is also performed to evaluate the interaction among different countries/territories and institutions. A holistic picture of the primary performance of emergy-related literatures published from 1999 to 2014 is presented. Co-word analysis reveals that emergy-based sustainability research and the integration of emergy synthesis with other methods (especially life cycle assessment) will be future research directions in emergy-related fields. Results obtained from this study can provide valuable information for researchers to better identify future hotspots in emergy-related fields.

Abstract:Diseases, natural disasters, and other emergencies force the economy and management system to confront nonlinear and random changes. In recent years, complexity science has attracted much attention. Complex economics believes that economic models are dynamic, stochastic, and unpredictable, and that equilibrium and stability are temporary. It is changing traditional economic theory. Based on complexity theory, bibliometric theory, nonlinear theory, and game theory, combined with knowledge graph methods, the article analyzed 200 papers from the Web of Science, covering the period 1998–2022. This research presents the research structure and theoretical evolution of complex economic games through visualization techniques. The clusters of keywords and the logical relationships between them are discussed. Then, the analysis of hot keywords and co-occurrence keywords is carried out. Finally, future research directions for complex economic games are given: (1) the market complexity that comes with intelligent expectations, (2) complex characteristics of the data trading market, and (3) complex risk control for emergencies. The innovation lies in the use of data analysis software combined with manual knowledge to overcome the shortcomings of inflexible software analysis, as well as weak manual storage and computation. This research builds a theoretical foundation for grasping the research direction and selecting advanced topics.

Abstract:In this paper, the process of the Major Research Plan by National Natural Science Foundation of China entitled"Study on Unconventional Emergencies Management"is reviewed.Major achievements and breakthrough are summarized in the following three areas:"Information processing and evolution modeling for unconventional emergencies", "Emergency decision of unconventional emergencies", "Psychological and behavioral responses of individuals and groups in a state of emergency".The future direction and perspective of China's social emergency management is briefly discussed, particularly on how to take advantage of the interdisciplinary research to further promote management mechanism, coping style, and technological innovation, as well as to open up a new area in the research of Resilience Society.
The evolution of Complexity co-occurring keywords: bibliometric analysis and network approach

Abstract:Bibliometric studies based on the Web of Science (WOS) database have become an increasingly popular method for analysing the structure of scientific research. So do network approaches, which, based on empirical data, make it possible to characterize the emergence of topological structures over time and across multiple research areas. Our paper is a contribution to interweaving these two lines of research that have progressed in separate ways but whose common applications have been increasingly more frequent. Among other attributes, Author Keywords and Keywords Plus are used as units of analysis that enable us to identify changes in the topics of interest and related bibliography. By considering the co-occurrence of those keywords with the Author Keyword \texttt{Complexity}, we provide an overview of the evolution of studies on Complexity Sciences, and compare this evolution in seven scientific fields. The results show a considerable increase in the number of papers dealing with complexity, as well as a general tendency across different disciplines for this literature to move from a more foundational, general and conceptual to a more applied and specific set of co-occurring keywords. Moreover, we provide evidence of changing topologies of networks of co-occurring keywords, which are described through the computation of some topological coefficients. In so doing, we emphasize the distinguishing structures that characterize the networks of the seven research areas.

Abstract:This article uses the emerging science as the foundation for advocating the emergencing view of nature.It describes the holistic emergence of the world,and the main rhythm and characteristics of systems emerging.The author goes beyond the boundaries of reductionism to explore the principles of emerging-holism and points out that the reductive approach is not the only way for simplification in science.the article discusses the theory of re-arche(arche:an original unit from which life begins and emerges) and shows its substantial difference from reductionism.Finally,the author advocates that the method of holism and re-arche should be used as the common method and methodology principle for scientific investigation.

Abstract:Abstract Economic complexity has been one of the key topics in evolutionary economic geography recently. It focuses on the structural transformation of industries and endogenous growth paths contributes to the understanding of the process of structural transformation of regional economies and is important for the deepening of theories such as development economics. However, little attention is currently being paid to the quantitative description of the evolution of this rapidly developing field of study. Therefore, to reveal the development process, hot topics and evolutionary trends of economic complexity research, a bibliometric approach and the visual analysis software CiteSpace were implemented based on 403 literatures related to economic complexity in the Web of Science core database from 1998-2022. The results show that the overall trend of economic complexity is on the rise, with hot topics involving diversity, export complexity, ecology and environment, international trade and many other fields. At the same time, the overall distribution of authors is relatively fragmented, and there is less interdisciplinary collaboration between highly productive authors. Most publishers have formed collaborative relationships with other institutions, and those that publish more have formed close partnerships. JEL classification numbers: F14. Abstract:Project Management Journal, Ahead of Print. Information technology project management practices effectively help organizations achieve IT value. We employed a semistructured review with the practice of jizhuanti by tracing the development of the research intersection of IT and projects through the works of seven influential authors. From the analysis of the review, we build representative models of the intersection and suggest open lines of research. The results unveil stakeholder integration, knowledge management, and risk controls as principal themes for the sampling subset. Future scholars can continue to delve into these areas over more complex systems, consider other categories, or open new directions revealed by practice.

Abstract:Purpose The purpose of this review is to systematically understand the development of enterprise social media (ESM) research, quantitatively analyze the landscape and track the development of ESM literature and reveal new trends and challenges in ESM research. Design/methodology/approach Based on 321 relevant literature studies (2005–2020) collected from the Web of Science core collection, the visualization tool CiteSpace is used to conduct bibliometric cocitation and cooccurrence analyses to quantify and visualize the landscape and evolution of ESM research. Findings Through analyzing the author cocitation network, document cocitation network, journal cocitation network and keywords cooccurrence network, this review proposes an integrated research framework, which highlights major purposes, antecedents and consequences of ESM use in organizations and presents future research trends of ESM research. Originality/value Different from the existing qualitative review of ESM, this review adopts bibliometric review to quantify and visualize the landscape of ESM research.
