The expression of survivin gene nuclear factor-κB p65 and p53 gene in the tissue of gastric adenocarcinoma and their correlation

Abstract:Objective To investigate the expressions of inhibiting apoptosis gene survivin,NF-κB p65 and p53 gene in the tissure of gastric adenocarcinoma,and their relation to biological behavior. Methods Using immunohistochemical S-P method, the expressions of survivin,NF-κB p65 and p53 gene were examined in 45 patients with gastric adenocarcinoma. Results The expressions of survivin, NF-κB p65 and p53 gene between gastric adenocacinoma and the normal were different.The difference was significant(P0.01); The expression of survivin was correlated with the degree of the invasion, lymphatic metastasis and clinical stages of gastric adenocarinoma(P0.05),but not with differentiation(P0.05); The expressions of NF-κB p65 and p53 gene were correlated with the invasion,lymphatic metastasis and clinical stages of gastric adenocarinoma ,and the degree of differentiation, too(P0.05). Conclusion The survivin,NF-κB p65 and p53 gene in all stage of gastric adenocarinoma have different levels of expression. The detections of survivin,NF-κB p65 and p53 are valuable in evaluating gastric adenocarinoma's malignant degree and its ability of invasion.
