Abstract:The paper presents the new activities and developments of reference services in Tsinghua University library,which include the reference platform,teamwork,blog system,responsible librarian,and real time reference as well. Some hot topics in this field,such as Library 2.0 and its application in reference,the future of real time reference,are discussed. The authors insist that libraries should be active and rational when using new technologies in reference services. At last,some questions are put forward which need more experiment and research. This paper will be useful for libraries to improve reference services.

Abstract:[Purpose/significance] The advent of the big data era has driven the transformation and upgrading of library reference service model.How to build a smart reference service model from the perspective of “multi-source data-driven” is crucial to the realization of smart library services.[Method/process] The article identifies the similarities and differences between traditional reference advisory services, digital reference advisory services and intelligent reference advisory services.The value of data-driven for reference advisory services is elaborated.The smart reference service model is discussed as consisting of 3 stages: smart perception of user needs, smart advisory service and intelligent push service for users.The optimization of the smart reference service process is realized.The feasibility of this service model is verified by the application example of Nanjing University Library.[Result/conclusion] Strategies and recommendations for the implementation of the smart reference service model are presented.By effectively integrating data, technology and services, this model helps to improve the level and quality of smart reference services in libraries, with a view to providing new ideas and methods for the transformation and upgrading of library reference services.

Abstract:This paper found via analysis that digital reference demonstrates six themes: an overview of research; digital reference systems, technology and service model research; reference librarian quality and reference team building, reference service quality and evaluation studies; digital reference laws and intellectual property research; comparative study of digital reference between China and abroad. It points out that the digital reference service concentrates on user and towards to expand the counseling services, improve the quality and level,strengthen the standards and quality construction, solve the problem of intellectual property rights, promote domestic and international cooper-ation and improve the organization and management of institutional repository. In the cloud environment, the digital reference will provide users with more advanced and deeper full service.

Abstract:With the change of information environment, the emergence of new technology, services, and new media, reference librarians and users have more choices in information acquisition methods, tools, and means. The reference consulting service is the most valuable part of developing collections, increasing comprehensive service ability, and revealing a library's social roles in the information age. The change in user demands has accelerated the transfer process which shifts the focus of library reference work from the literature retrieval to the individualized, information-oriented deep content mining, or metrology analysis. Improving the new service capacity to accomplish library service transformation is also an important goal of functional improvements to the National Library of China. In the coming years, the National Library of China will promote new services through improving the reading guidance, developing literature resources, innovating service methods, supporting national development strategy, strengthening the library's essentials, and promoting business cooperation.

Abstract:Based on the development of university library service in China, this paper analyzes the significance of university library service innovation and transformation under the "Internet plus" environment, puts forward the problems existing in the current university library service, first expounds the necessity of university library adapting to the new technological environment to build an innovative service system under the network environment, and then from the concept, management, resources The construction of innovative service system is discussed from five aspects of technology and service. This paper focuses on the analysis of the construction of the intelligent service mode of university libraries from the perspective of innovation and puts forward reasonable suggestions in order to improve the service ability of intelligent libraries and provide reference for people who pay attention to such topics.

Abstract:Think-tank has played a role in decision-making consultation.The paper analyses the way of collecting information,the tools of information analysis,the ways of SDI delivery service contents,staff training of advanced think-tank from the foreign countries.Then points out that if our libraries services want to meet the demands and keep competition in the environment of information society,the library service model must be transformed,then several feasible suggestions are put forward as follows:The libraries should take advantage of the abundant of formal and informal collections,transform the consultation service model to the think-tank consultation service mode;Set knowledge base,so that cademic resources of think-tanks,universities and research institutes can be accessed and shared openly,develop SDI delivery service and promote their own research results.

Abstract:According to the problems in Chinese enterprise technology innovation, a concept of smarter enterprise innovation network was proposed, which has three characteristics: (1) The value of knowledge, information for experts inside and outside enterprise, information of the market changes and user's demand are more insightfully perceived; (2) The information among the knowledge life cycle, internal and external enterprise knowledge, behavior of employee knowledge sharing and innovation activities, knowledge suppliers and demanders, knowledge and the innovation process are communicated much comprehensively; (3) Knowledge management system become more intelligent though building the dynamic relationship between the knowledge and persons, which means the more usage of the system, the smarter it would be. Implementation methods for the smarter enterprise innovation network were presented: (1) Managing, tracking and monitoring the life cycle of the knowledge: According to the knowledge application result, the appropriate incentives are given to knowledge contributors; Evaluation of knowledge and staffs is combined, so that the knowledge network will be more ordered, and people will take part in construction and evaluation of knowledge network much responsibly and actively;(2) Rely on public assessment of knowledge: organizing related staffs to vote some knowledge for a particular evaluation; knowledge evaluation based on Wikipedia (Wiki) model; evaluation knowledge based on behavior of knowledge application by staff; (3) Combining the knowledge evaluation with the daily use of knowledge. There are some problems need to pay attention to: scoring standards for the behaviors of daily knowledge application; knowledge evaluation strategy for some possible cheating behaviors; knowledge evaluation strategy for some possible negative behaviors. The system based on this concept has been partly applied in a certain research institute.

Abstract:Technology innovation requires the involvement of employees and a wide range of knowledge exchange,while the Web2.0 technologies can play a significant role in this respect. Based on the study of the main features of Web2.0 system supporting technology innovation,this paper analyses the approaches to use blog,wiki,dig and social bookmark and other Web2.0 models to facilitate effective access to and take full advantage of appropriate knowledge; the use of witkey,personalized search engines,SNS,collaborative filtering and other Web2.0 models to provide knowledge-based services; and effective patent protection and utilization in terms of the release of knowledge,the convenience of sharing,timely feedback of knowledge sharing and the effectiveness of application,categorization of knowledge,initiative of innovation and knowledge-sharing,finding the right experts quickly,the collaborative technology innovation,and the effectiveness of patent protection and utilization.
