Determination of Α-Linolenic Acid in the Capsule of Jinsili with Underivatized Capillary Gas Chromatography

Abstract:A determination method of α-linolenic acid in the capsule of Jinsili was developed with the underivatized capillary gas chromatography(GC).The result showed the calibration curve(A=4.792 1 m+47.815) was found to be linear over the range of 0.541～109.7 ng(r=0.9997,n=7) and the detection limit was 0.25 ng(S/N=3).The average recovery was 101.3% and their relative standard derivation(RSD) was 2.80%(n=5).When a same sample was analyzed for 6 times,the RSD of the area of the peak for α-linolenic acid was 1.21%.The percentage of α-linolenic acid in the determined capsule of Jinsili was 4.29%(RSD=0.76%,n=5).
