Abstract:At present,the domestic cigarette manufacturers mainly used the GDX2 packaging machine which introduced in the 1990s and developed by Italy GD company as their packaging equipment,but the machine equipment presences a quality defect of Cartridge pack missing in high speed production,after the research and analysis of existing detection device(CH export stacked detection,CT box upper integrity detection the photon packet missing detection),this paper find out The reasons causing the detection device undetected and false detection,and develops a strip box missing Locket dynamic detection.This detection device detects cartridge pack missing by detecting whether the aluminum foil is present in the small box.This detection makes up for the deficiency of existing detecting method and can eliminate the pack missing problem.

Abstract:The absence of carton package defect monitor in CT cartoner and CV carton overwrapper in GD packing line resulted in finished cartons with defects caused by carton blank or film distortion.Therefore,a carton monitor was designed by taking S7-200 PLC as control core and adopting optical fiber sensor and rejecting device.The results of application showed that the designed monitor could accurately detect and reject defective cartons,the frequency of downstream machine shutdown caused by unqualified cartons reduced from 10-15 to 2-4 times/shift,and cigarette packing quality and machine efficiency were improved.

Abstract:Aiming at the low efficiency of handwork and high labor intensity, an automatic solution for perforated discs assembly is developed based on computer vision. This technology consists of the processes of material feeding, parts handling, circle detecting and assembling. The mechatronic structure includes the pneumatic elements and electric actuators that controlled by PLC and stepper motor drivers. This method has solved the problem of the large cost of human force since this product has a big industrial production. Meanwhile, a contour optimized Hough circle transform (CHCT) is proposed. It can overcome the standard Hough circle transform (HCT) s disadvantages, such as redundant calculation and probability of failures. It enhances the reliability in order to satisfy the demand of industrial automatic production. The image processing takes only about 60ms and reaches 100% success rate with a small detection error. This method also has the generality for the similar assembly system based on machine vision.

The finite element analysis and structure optimization of drag parachute packing manipulator is completed. The pneumatic control system is designed. It provides an approach for drag parachute packing technology.

Abstract:The traditional box appearance defect detection adopts manual detection which is low accuracy and time consuming. In order to overcome the drawbacks of manual detection and improve transportation automation, an effective and convenient defect detection algorithm of express boxes is proposed. The central idea of the proposed algorithm is to solve defect identification problems during transportation. This technique only needs to observe defects through the binocular camera system, thus the parameters of shape and size can be obtained subsequently. Finally, experiments are carried out. Results show that the algorithm can accurately identify different shaped defects and the highest reconstruction correct rate is up to 95.83%. The results verify the applicability of the proposed approach.

Abstract:The present utility model discloses an automobile engine control unit box body air tightness detection tool. The tool comprises a positioning plate for sealingly pressing a detected box body tightly through fitting with a press plate, the press plate is connected with a cylinder for driving the press plate to move up and down, the positioning plate is provided with an air inlet channel, an air outlet of the air inlet channel is arranged inside the detection area of the detected box body of the upper surface of the positioning plate, the positioning plate is provided with a sealing groove fitted with a detected box body circumferential bottom surface locus curve, a sealing loop is embedded inside the sealing groove, an elastic boss with auxiliary supporting and sealing roles is fixedly arranged on the positioning plate, the elastic boss is arranged inside the detected box body and fitted with a top hole of the top surface of the detected box body, the detected box body is pressed by the press plate from the top to the bottom, thus the sealing loop and the elastic boss below the detected box body are extruded and elastically deformed, thus the sealing effect can be realized. By adopting the tool, automatic work can be realized, the tool is convenient and rapid, the influence on the original state of products is small, thus product qualified rate is increased, and production costs are reduced.

Abstract:In the present study, an automatic defect detection system has been assembled and introduced for Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) powder. The average diameter for PVC powder is approximately 100 μm. The system hardware includes a powder delivery device, a sieving device, a circular platform, an image capture device, and a recycling device. A defect detection algorithm based on YOLOv4 was developed using CSPDarkNet53 as the backbone for feature extraction, spatial pyramid pooling (SPP) and path aggregation network (PAN) as the neck, and Yoloblock as the head. An auto-annotation algorithm was developed based on a digital image processing algorithm to save time in feature engineering. Several hyper-parameters have been employed to improve the efficiency of detection in the process of training YOLOv4. The Taguchi method was utilized to optimize the performance of detection, in which the mean average precision (mAP) is the response. Results show that our optimized YOLOv4 has a test mAP of 0.9385, compared to 0.8653 and 0.7999 for naïve YOLOv4 and Faster RCNN, respectively. Additionally, with the optimized YOLOv4, there is no false alarm for images without any foreign matter.

Abstract:Abstract With the deepening of green and sustainable development and the rapid development of the social economy, the modern logistics industry has also developed to an unprecedented level. In the logistics supply chain, due to the high value of the items inside the arrival carton, appearance inspection must be carried out before warehousing. However, manual inspection is slow and ineffective, resulting in the waste of manpower and packaging carton resources, which is not conducive to sustainable development. To address the above problems, this paper designs a logistics supply chain carton packaging quality defect detection system based on improved Single Shot MultiBox Detector (SSD) in the context of green sustainable development. The Implicit Feature Pyramid Network (IFPN) is introduced into SSD to improve the feature extraction ability of the model; the multiscale attention mechanism is introduced to collect more feature information. The experiment shows that the mAP and FPS of the system on the self-built data set reach 0.9662 and 36 respectively, which can realise the detection of the appearance defects of logistics cartons and help promote green sustainable development.

Abstract:—this paper presents an automated controlling system based programmable logic controller (PLC) that consists of two different transporting conveyors; vertical and horizontal. The samples were placed on the horizontal conveyor for transportation from loaded point to packaging point. After the DC motor that drives the horizontal conveyor is energized, the samples move along the conveyor before they reach an inspection sensor that separates the two types of products and drop the chosen sample inside a filling box. When the box is filled with the right amount of samples, the vertical conveyor picks and places these boxes inside vertical shelves. This process is controlled using a Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)Mitsubishi FX2n-32MT. The experimental results of the prototype were able to fully automate the system and improve the time of inspection and packing. The results show that the machine was done to inspect, package and pack24 boxes (96 samples) in one hour. In addition, the results obtained show that the system able to decreases product time, and increase product rate as compared with traditional manual system.

Abstract:In the world package sorting machines are playing an essential role. Most of the machines are based on PLC or color sensor-based. In this paper, we have made a unique design of a package sorting machine that is based on bar code detection. The microcontroller we are using is Arduino, and the conveyor design is based on a new conveyor method that will make the sorting speed faster and have perfect accuracy. This paper and design introduce the application of parcel box sorting, which saves the sorting time and reduces the cost. With the continuous improvement of the level of the manufacturing industry, to increase the efficiency output of production and distribution, a simple automatic sorting based on bar code detection is realized in mechanical design. The belt conveyor system is designed for low friction, fast sorting, and high precision. The main purpose of the system is to save production time and manufacturing labor costs. Discusses the project, size, capacity, speed, roller diameter, pulley, power, tension, control mode, and advanced conveyor mechanical design.

Abstract:Container unloading is a very dangerous job, so how to automate it is very necessary.There are currently machines that can be fully automated and unloaded for specific situations, but the generalization is not good. In order to automatically unload the goods under different situation, it is necessary to find a way to replace the human eye, how to establish a complete identification and positioning Vision system is very important.Traditional methods based on Vision are difficult to achieve end-to-end unloading automation.We use deep learning-based target detection here. The algorithm Mask-RCNN is used to detect specific objects. The second generation Kinect developed by Microsoft can completely re- place the human eye. In the simulation environment, we get the recognition speed of each frame for 0.2 seconds, which can get the three-dimensional coordinates of each box precise. By feeding back the data to the machine, the machine can know their target clearly.This is a good promotion of the development of automatic unloading

Abstract:A mechanism is designed for detecting the assembling parts in a narrow cabin,which is made up of a basement,an elevator,a two-degree-of-freedom ( DOF) mechanism and a camera system. The camera system is mounted at the end of detecting shaft,which is made up of a camera,a prism,and a light source. The camera is coaxial with the detecting shaft,and it can grasp the picture of the cabin by a prism,which changes the light from the surface of the cabin to the direction of detecting shaft's axis. There are two DOFs in the mechanism that is designed based on cylindrical coordinate. Through the two-DOF mechanism translating and revolving together,the camera system can obtain the whole internal image of the cabin. There are some merits in the mechanism,e. g. long stroke,tiny radius,and high rigidity. The experiment verified that the photo is clear and is suitable for vision servo control.

Abstract:For reducing the machining difficulty and increasing the conjunction precision, an automatic sorting system is presented. The system combines the backpressure pneumatic measurement with a pneumatic-electric transfer technology. A semiconductor pressure sensor is used for the pneumatic-electric transfer. The air chamber pressure is converted to an electrical signal. The merits of the semiconductor pressure sensor include high conversion precision, high frequency response, and small volume. But it has a relatively big temperature drift if no compensation is provided. The sensor can compensate temperature drift. But the null shift and sensitivity shift still exist. Reducing supply voltage using an electric bridge or reducing supply current using a constant current source can reduce the shift. The null shift and sensitivity shift can be further reduced by auto-compensation using a calibrated gauge. The automatic sorting system can automatically sort injector valves and orifices quickly with a resolution of 0.2µm. The sorting accuracy is 0.5µm and the speed is approximately thirty pieces per minute. The system has the function of auto-control and error auto-compensation and has a high measuring efficiency and high precision.

The multifunctional automatic packaging machine comprises a packaging compression molding machine and a device protection box and is characterized in that a weighing machine is arranged below the packaging compression molding machine; protection box supporting rods are arranged below the weighing machine; the packaging compression molding machine is arranged in a packaging control box; a one-way block plate is mounted on the inner surface of the top of the packaging control box; the left side of the packaging control box is connected with a bag discharging machine; the right side of the packaging control box is connected with a vacuum machine; the vacuum machine and the bag discharging machine are arranged above a conveying belt; a loader electricity transmission panel is arranged on the lower surface of the conveying belt; a material control device is arranged above the one-way block plate and directly connected with the device protection box; and after materials are fed through a feeding hopper, the weight of the materials is controlled by the material control device so that the materials can precisely enter the box, then plastic bags discharged out of the bag discharging machine are filled with the materials through the packaging compression molding machine, then compression molding bag closing is carried out, sealing is carried out, and then semi-finished products packaged temporarily are discharged through the conveying belt.

Abstract:This article extends the applications of in-mold capacitive transducer to packing stage for on-line part weight prediction and check-ring failure detection for injection molding. Experiments under various conditions show that the proposed on-line part weight prediction is robust and effective, which may pave the way for on-line closed-loop part weight control.

Abstract:In order to improve the efficiency of unpacking system, an algorithm of quick recognition and localization packing belts was proposed,which was based on machine vision.With dynamic threshold method,the image grabbed by camera was segmented in OHTA color space.The noise in the image was filtered out through the BLOB algorithm,and then the cutting positions of packing belts were located along the principal axis with the cutting point searching algorithm.Experiments were carried out with the developed intelligent unpacking robot system.The results show that: at the light intensity of 150 to 400 lx,the unpacking system can recognize and locate the packing belts in color white,black,gray,purple,blue,yellow,green,blue,brown and so on within 190 ms and the maximum error is 7 mm.The algorithm can satisfy practical requirements.
