Numerical Simulation on Forced Ventilation in the Heading Face With FLUENT

Abstract:In the case of such problem as narrow place,difficult ventilation and poor working conditions,the model for the full-size driving face in the roadway was established,based on the Fluent.And it simulated the air flow in heading face influenced by fan drum outlets at different locations.Numerical simulation results,When the fan drum center located 1.5 m high from the floor,the air located 1.5 m high from the floor could outflow steady after cleaning heading face.It provides significance for implementation effective ventilation of the heading face.
