A Review of the Research on the Faculty Participating in University Governance

Abstract:It's an important practice and theory issue in higher education management whether the faculty participates in university governance. The thesis reviews the research on this subject as follows:what is the faculty participating in university governance; why does the faculty participate in university governance,how does the faculty participate in university governance and what are the possible problems of the faculty participating in university governance? Then,the thesis points out the shortcomings of former research and the breakthroughs in continued research.
