Abstract:The problem of solving fuzzy relation equations (II) based on Boolean-type implications is studied in the present paper. Decomposition of fuzzy relation equations (II) based on Boolean-type implications is first presented in a finite case. Then, the solution existence of fuzzy relation equations (II) based on Boolean-type implications is discussed, and for nice Boolean-type implications, some new solvability criteria based upon the notion of ”solution matrices” are given. It is also shown that for each solution a of a fuzzy relation equation (II) based on Boolean-type implication, there exists a minimal solution a* of this equation, such that a* is less than or equal to a, whenever the solution set of this equation is nonempty. The complete solution set of fuzzy relation equation (II) based on Boolean-type implication can be determined by all minimal solutions of this equation. Finally, an effective method to solve fuzzy relation equations (II) based on Boolean-type implications is proposed.

Abstract:In the paper ''The cut sets, decomposition theorems and representation theorems on intuitionistic fuzzy sets and interval-valued fuzzy sets'' [X.H. Yuan, H.X. Li, K.B. Sun, The cut sets, decomposition theorems and representation theorems on intuitionistic fuzzy sets and interval valued fuzzy sets, Science China (Information Sciences), 54(1) (2011) 91-110.], four kinds of cut sets and eight mappings on intuitionistic fuzzy sets are introduced, based on which four decomposition theorems and four representation theorems on intuitionistic fuzzy sets are obtained. This paper first discusses the relations among the four kinds of cut sets and the relations among the eight mappings. Then, the equivalence of the four decomposition theorems based on different cut sets for intuitionistic fuzzy sets is proved, as well as the equivalence of the four representation theorems. In the end, the corresponding conclusions about interval-valued fuzzy sets can be obtained similarly.

Abstract:The componentwise decomposition theorem of lattice-valued Sugeno integral is extended. The concepts of interval fuzzy-valued, intuitionistic fuzzy-valued and interval intuitionistic fuzzy-valued Sugeno integrals are introduced. It is shown that the intuitionistic fuzzy-valued Sugeno integrals and the interval fuzzy-valued Sugeno integrals are mathematically equivalent. The interval intuitionistic fuzzy-valued Sugeno integral can be decomposed into the interval fuzzy-valued and intuitionistic fuzzy-valued Sugeno integrals, or the original Sugeno integrals.

Abstract:Graphs and hypergraphs are popular models for data structured representation. For example, traffic data, weather data, and animal skeleton data are all described by graph structures. Interval-valued fuzzy sets change the membership function of general fuzzy sets from single value functions to interval-valued functions, and thus describe the fuzzy attributes of things in terms of fuzzy intervals, which is more in line with the characteristics of fuzzy objectives. This paper aims to define the bipolar interval-valued fuzzy hypergraph to reveal the inner relationship of fuzzy data, and give some characterizations of it. The characteristics of bipolar interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy hypergraph and bipolar interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy hypergraph are studied. In addition, we discuss the characteristics of the bipolar interval-valued fuzzy threshold graph. Finally, some instances are presented as the applications of bipolar interval-valued fuzzy hypergraphs.

Abstract:Recently, El-Naschie has shown that the notion of fuzzy topology may be relevant to quantum physics in connection with string theory and E-infinity space time theory. In this paper, we introduce fuzzy strongly pre-I-open sets and fuzzy strongly pre-I-continuous function in fuzzy ideal topological spaces, and obtain several characterizations of fuzzy continuous functions by this function. Abstract:Concepts of graph theory have applications in many areas of computer science including data mining, image segmentation, clustering, image capturing, networks, etc . An interval-valued fuzzy set is a generalization of the notion of a fuzzy set. Interval-valued fuzzy models give more precision, flexibility and compatibility to the system as compared to the fuzzy models. In this paper, we introduce the concept of antipodal interval - valued fuzzy graph and self median interval-valued fuzzy graph of the given interval-valued fuzzy graph. We investigate isomorphism properties of antipodal interval - valued fuzzy graphs.

Abstract:Interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft sets and graph theory are combined in this essay. Then, we present notations for Pythagorean fuzzy soft graphs with interval values. On interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft graphs, we also provide a variety of operations, such as Cartesian product and composition, and we look at some of their characteristics. Finally, we consider the application of I-VPFSGs for the selection of suitable houses and got the appropriate result by using score function.

Abstract:The paper presents essential connections between fuzzifying convexities, fuzzifying interval operators and fuzzy pre-orders. Firstly, we study the relationship between fuzzifying convex structures and fuzzifying interval operators on a universal set. Secondly, we show that there exists a connection between based-point fuzzy orders and geometric fuzzifying interval operators on fuzzy partially ordered sets. Finally, we establish a connection between fuzzifying convexities and fuzzy pre-orders.

Abstract:The soft set theory, proposed by Molodtsov, can be used as a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty. By combining the interval-valued fuzzy set and soft set models, the purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of the interval-valued fuzzy soft set. The complement, "AND" and "OR" operations are defined on the interval-valued fuzzy soft sets. The DeMorgan's, associative and distribution laws of the interval-valued fuzzy soft sets are then proved. Finally, a decision problem is analyzed by the interval-valued fuzzy soft set. Some numerical examples are employed to substantiate the conceptual arguments. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. Abstract:Many problems of practical interest can be modeled and solved by using interval-valued fuzzy graph (IVFG) algorithms. An IVFG is a very useful and effective tool for studying various calculations, fields of intelligence, and computer science, such as networking, imaging, and other fields, such as biological sciences. In different applications, they present an appropriate construction means. There were limitations in the definition of fuzzy graphs (FGs), which prompted us to propose a new definition for IVFGs. Some interesting properties related to the new IVFGs are investigated, and enough conditions under which the level graph on IVFGs is equivalent are obtained. Therefore, in this study, we present the properties of a level graph (LG) of an IVFG, and four operations, the Cartesian product (CP), composition (CO), union, and join, are investigated on it. Today, in a treatment system, one of the issues that can be very valuable and important to the quality of service to patients is finding qualified and efficient people in each department, which is not an easy task. But the interval-valued fuzzy graph, as an important fuzzy graph, can help us by considering the ability of each person in the form of intervals of numbers and the effectiveness of each one on the other (according to the relationships between them) in order to find the most worthy people. So, an application of IVFG to find the most effective person in a hospital information system has been introduced.

Abstract:For fuzzy counterparts of hull operators and interval operators, two types of fuzzy hull operators and one type of fuzzy interval operators are proposed. Firstly, the concept of L-hull operators is introduced and the resulting category is shown to be isomorphic to that of L-convex spaces. Secondly, considering the graded inclusions of L-subsets, the notion of L-ordered hull operators is presented, which is shown to be categorically isomorphic to strong L-convex structures. Finally, the concept of L-interval operators is introduced and it is shown that there is a Galois correspondence between the category of L-interval spaces and that of L-convex spaces. In particular, the category of arity 2 L-convex spaces can be reflectively embedded into that of L-interval spaces.

Abstract:In his classic paper [ 11, Zadeh introduced the notion of a fuzzy set. Subsequently, Goguen (21 extended this to the more general notion of an L-fuzzy set. Thereafter the completely distributive lattice [3] became a suitable framework to expound the theory of the L-fuzzy set. Meanwhile, much research has been carried out in the area of fuzzy topology(cf. [6-91). Some recent articles [4, 51 have considered the uniformities and metrizations on fuzzy sets and obtained rather profound results. In these articles, the importance of the investigation of the intersection operation on union-preserving mappings in completely distributive lattices became apparent. Especially, Hutton’s formula on the intersection operation [4; Lemma 31 is useful. In this paper, by counterexample, we shall show that this formula does not hold for all completely distributive lattices, except the lattice (0, I}. Moreover, under an additional assumption, a proof of this formula is given. We shall also show some properties about the intersection operation which will be needed in our latter work on fuzzy uniformity and fuzzy metrization.

Abstract:We consider a family of toroidal graphs, denoted by , which contain neither i -cycles nor j -cycles. A graph G is ( d , h )-decomposable if it contains a subgraph H with such that is a d -degenerate graph. For each pair , Lu and Li proved that every graph in is (2, 1)-decomposable. In this short note, we present a unified approach to prove that a common superclass of is also (2, 1)-decomposable.
