Clinical evaluation on conservative therapies of posterior teeth with longitudinal fracture

Abstract:Objective To investigate the conservative treatment and therapeutic results of longitudinal fractures of the posterior teeth.Methods 39 completely vertically fractured teeth were involved in this research,and all the traumatic teeth were adhered together before further endodontic treatment using the Super-bond C& B adhesive system.Results All the patients were followed up for 1 year.The teeth were extracted due to failure in three patients after six months,Significant difference between success and failure(P=0.028<0.05).And six months later,4 cases were extracted due to failure,also have Significant difference between success and failure(P=0.020<0.05).and the rate of success at 12 months as 87.5%.Conclusions The Super-bond C& B adhesive system is a dental material in the fractured teeth treatment with satisfaction efficacy.
