Abstract:With the development of the Internet technologies and computer communication technologies, the traditionary circuit-switch based network must evolves to the new generation network which is based on the packet-switch technology. Facing the progress and status of the convergence of the three-networks, This document presents a distributed and SIP protocal based VoIP system prototype. Due to combinating of merits of SIP and IP, this model not only provides the interoperation with the existed network, but also provides an extendable plat for the NGN. This model uses private VoIP network to achieve the QoS.

Abstract:With the packet exchange principle,IPPBX can realize the functions of the traditional PBX on Ethernet and overcome the insufficiency of traditional PBX effectively. It has powerful functions,comprehensive services with less cost. The typical networking mode of IPPBX is introduced in this paper. The design principles of each module system MPC8250 hardware system based on IPPBX and the software system of the system are given. The protocol conversion software of main con?trol module is also analyzed. The test result shows that the system can achieve simultaneous processing of 200 calls and its voice quality is excellent.

Abstract:In this paper, firstly, we introduce the protocol of VoIP, and analyze the process of a call establishment based on H.323, including RAS, H.225, and H.245 phases. Then, we focus on implementing ALG which allow an application on a host in one address realm to connect to its counterpart running on a host in different realm transparently. An ALG may interact with NAT to set up state, use NAT state information, modify application specific payload and perform whatever else necessary to get the application running across disparate address realm. In addition, this section presents many important data structures and algorithms, for example, the algorithm to check for match of remote IP address and port, the algorithm for classifier to look at both outbound as well as an inbound packets, and etc. Finally, the paper describes and analyzes the results of experiments, and we obtain some significant parameters, namely, call setup latency and packet forwarding latency. The experiments and applications demonstrate it feasible for ALG to realize NAT for VoIP.

Abstract:Nowadays VoIP (Voice over IP) develops quickly. H.323 is the most popular and mature architecture for VoIP, in which Gateway is one of the most important components. In this paper, two main aspects of the Gateway are discussed. They are the processing of simultaneous initialization of multiple calls and the compatibility with other H.323 standard endpoints and different H.323 versions. At last, the test of our Gateway is shown and the result is discussed.

Abstract:Based on the deep study and research on enterprise_scale Call Center, aiming at the problems of PBX Capacity limitation and unresolved rush hours call crash, this paper proposes a new solution which puts IVR function in front of PBX (called Pre_IVR) to avoid the aforementioned problems and enhance the intelligent of Call Center. Compared with traditional call centers, the system designed has several advantages such as Pre-routing, Call Screening, PBX changing online. In addition, it gets rid of the limitation of PBX capabilities and realizes online capacity expansion. Then two implementing technology of pre_IVR, respectively IN based and Soft Switch based are proposed. Furthermore several typical service scenarios are taken as examples, message interaction flows of related main function entities are described in detail.

Abstract:IP-PBX from SETA Company in Japan which is an IP phone switch system based on SIP (Session Initial Protocol), has realized both phone call and other related extensions. At the same time, kinds of incompatible problems concerning SIP phone on their extended functions exist, such as call hold while developing this IP-PBX. The characteristics of both IP-PBX call hold function and other kind of SIP phone is analyzed in details. A new solution is proposed through combining both SIP and its extended protocol, which is also realized functions of call hold and its retrieve, call park and its retrieve on kinds of SIP phone successfully.

Abstract:Voice communications such as telephony are delay sensitive. Existing voice-over-IP (VoIP) applications transmit voice data in packets of very small size to minimize packetization delay, causing very inefficient use of network bandwidth. This paper proposes a multiplexing scheme for improving the bandwidth efficiency of existing VoIP applications. By installing a multiplexer in an H.323 proxy, voice packets from multiple sources are combined into one IP packet for transmission. A demultiplexer at the receiver-end proxy restores the original voice packets before delivering them to the end-user applications. Results show that the multiplexing scheme can increase bandwidth efficiency by as much as 300%. The multiplexing scheme is fully compatible with existing H.323-compliant VoIP applications and can be readily deployed.

Abstract:A new system scheme was proposed to realize conversational voice services with high QoS requirements in wireless local area networks (WLAN). This scheme contains a network model consisting of wireless terminals, wireless access point, voice gateway and internet, while the adopted protocol stack architecture of the wireless terminals inside WLAN is RTP/UDP/IP/LLC802.2/802.11e, from application layer to medium access control (MAC) layer respectively. In MAC layer, an improved Multipoll based on hybrid coordination function (HCF) of standard IEEE 802.11e was presented by designing the polling mechanisms and the polling frame formats. The admission control policy was derived to satisfy delay and bandwidth requirements, and the polling efficiency formulae of Multipoll and Singlepoll were also derived. Simulation results show that the proposed system scheme can provide QoS guarantees, such as bandwidth and maximal packet delay, for conversational voice services; and that Multipoll is much more efficient than Singlepoll. The throughput performances obtained by simulation are very close to the analytical results, which means that the system throughput can be accurately estimated using the presented formulae.

Abstract:Beginning from the ITU H.323 multimedia communication protocol and the hardware and software architecture of a MCU system, a IP video phone conference system based on the H. 323 protocol was introduced, which is a embedded system de-signed for special requirement. To enhance the utilization performance of network resource, the grouping exchange technology was applied in the network layer in this system. It was specially put forward a double process boards hardware structure-the sup-port hardware for audio/video encode and decode, data encapsulate etc was integrated in the mother board and the communication function with the network in the subsidiary board. The two boards communicate with data stream mechanism and the software system was also drived by data stream. High reliability , low cost and good transplantation to the realization of IP video phone conference system were provided, which was meaningful used to reference by similar small video conference system research and development.

Abstract:OpenH323 is an open source VoIP(Voice over IP)protocol stack. It supports H.323, SIP and other multimedia communication protocols and provides a good developing platform for multimedia applications. G.723.1 is an ITU standard for speech codecs which are mainly used for medium-rate and low-rate multimedia communication applications. At present, G.723.1 has been widely used in the IP phone systems. Based on the OpenH323 software-end, realizing the G.723.1 codec has very important application value. In this paper, the realization method of G.723.1 codec on the OpenH323 protocol stack is presented, and it can be extended to G.729 and other speech codecs.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduced an intelligent call center platform (ICCP) for communication enterprises. The platform is based on two broad suites of technologies: Knowledge management and natural language processing. First, we designed an enterprise knowledge modeling technology, and provided a knowledge management system for managing customer service knowledge. Then mobile customers are allowed to send Chinese queries, through either Internet tools (e.g. MSN, QQ, BBS and Fetion) or Wireless SM devices (e.g. mobile phones), to a multi-tier natural language understanding engine, and the engine retrieves the knowledge bases to find correct answers after understanding the queries. The ICCP has been successfully used in a domestic communication group since March 2009, and achieved a satisfactory performance.
