Abstract:According to the basic structure and operating principle of disk brake for the belt conveyor,the influence of retarding torque to braking failure is mainly analyzed.Measures taken to prevent the braking failure of disk brake are put forward by analyzes the cause of braking failure of disk brake with the accident tree diagram of braking failure.Meanwhile,it offers the maintenance and operation for disk brake according to the analysis result.

Abstract:Based on the widely used air-hydraulic brake system,an exam scheme was put forward,which eliminated all kinds of disadvantageous factors.On a loader with this brake system,contrast experiments were carried out.Experimental results showed that the air-hydraulic brake system was a strong overdamped system.All kinds of damping holes prolonged the response time of this system and should be eliminated possibly.To reduce the damping ratio,the length of the conduits should be reduced and the inside diameter should be enlarged.The brake fluid with big Young's modulus should be used and must be degased and dehumidified.Enlarging the return spring constant of the brake cylinder could reduce the damping ratio and increase the natural vibration frequency,thereby the brake performance was improved.However,the tightening of the return spring may reduce the brake power effectively.

Abstract:This paper presents a new electro-hydraulic control system for screw conveyor device of shield tunnelling machine. The control model of the system is established, in which arotation and gate movement compound control approach is applied. It utilizes the motor speed feedback to design an outer loop and cylinder velocity feedback as an inner loop to realize flow rate disturbance compensation. Simulations are done and results are presented to verify the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed driving system and its control strategy.

Abstract:Belt conveyors are widely used in the areas of coal, ports, electric power, chemical, etc, to transport bulk solid. The traditional design methods have many defects, such as long design cycle, prone to error, and it is unable to meet the needs of modern society. This paper presents a new method of designing belt conveyors, the 3D visual rapid design platform based on the AutoCAD software for the design of belt conveyors. This platform uses Visual Basic software to develop the rapid design program, establishes the stereo models of the belt conveyor by extending the functions of AutoCAD with ObjectARX. So it builds the three-dimensional design environment in which the designers can adjust the structure of the belt conveyor based on the actual environment, manage the parts of the belt conveyor and get the engineering drawing of the belt conveyor. This platform increases the design speed and improves the design quality. ©2010 IEEE.

Abstract:For the detection of brake disc volume-production,how to improve the efficiency is the pivotal job in the improvement of production efficiency.The traditional manual means of detection has affected the efficiency and reliability seriously.As considering the fact of detection course,a projection of an automatic detection system was put forward and a detailed description of it was given.With this system,the detection time of a produce is shortened from 50 seconds to 16 seconds.The running result shows that detection system is feasible and effective.

Abstract:Through the analysis of the status of belt-broken seizing machine and synthesizing the features of the common ones, designed a high reLiabiLity, minimal damage and purely mechanical belt-conveyors of belt-broken seizing machine according to the need of safe transport in the coal mine. The belt-broken seizing machine is made up of the agency of belt-broken signal capture and actuator that are purely mechanical. When occuring the belt-broken accident, broken belt drives the agency of belt-broken signal capture, which Links the actuator that connected to it to complete the action of seizing belt-broken. The agency of belt-broken also has a braking effect while Links the actuator, and achieve the dupLicate protection of the belt-broken with the actuator. Furthermore, the units has the advantages of that it is simple structure, easy to install, easy maintenance, sensitive and reLiable, avoid the second accident after the belt-conveyors broking, and ensure the safe transport of belt-conveyors in the coal mine.

Abstract:Many domestic traffic accidents are caused by high-temperature friction of truck’s brake drum resulting in failure of brake system. Therefore, it is the key to solve the problem of decline on brake drum performance caused by temperature. The following schemes are mainly adopted: improving brake structure and friction materials, adding auxiliary brake devices, and installing cooling devices for brake system. This paper summarizes the structure and characteristics of most intelligent cooling devices for brake system in China. In addition, based on these intelligent cooling devices, the paper also puts forward new intelligent cooling devices for truck’s brake system. The system uses sensors to analyze the temperature state of the brake drum. According to the analysis results, the central controller innovatively combines air pump and water pump to transform low-pressure water into high-pressure water, and then sprays and cools the brake drum through the water pipes and arc spray devices to ensure the normal operation of the brake system.

Abstract:In order to improve the efficiency of industrial sewing machine system based on brushless dc motor control,simplified brake method and simplify the brake method,this paper put forward a new kind of reversing lock brake parking control method about the brushless dc motor control industrial sewing machine system.This method analyzed from the two aspects of speed and braking,PI speed control method is used,detecting needle position signal for reversing locking brake,and demonstrated the feasibility of this control method in theory.Finally,presents a practical control rendering.Practice proves that the method has achieved good effect,met the control requirements of the industrial sewing machine system and improves the dynamic performance of the system.

Abstract:Given that the disassembly speed of the body of the telescopic belt conveyor operated in an underground coal mine couldn’t keep consistent with the advancing speed of the working face, a telescopic system specially for the belt conveyor was designed. Then a detailed comparison of the merits and demerits and a force analysis of different telescopic systems were made in this paper. Lastly, a conveyor belt-oriented friction-type traction device was invented for specific working conditions. And the traction device is characterized by strong adaptability and high working efficiency and could retract and extend the telescopic part continuously and automatically, which provided an effective technical solution to facilitate the intelligent and efficient development of the modern mine.

Abstract:Common disc brakes of mine hoists cannot effectively detect the faults caused by an insufficient braking force. To solve the problem, a new disc brake is proposed which can accurately monitor the disc spring force (DSF) and positive brake pressure (PBP) in real time. Based on this, the new structure of the disc brake is designed, and the new DSF sensor and PBP sensor are installed in the disc brake to judge whether the braking force is adequate. By analyzing the structural mechanics models of two sensors, the design is verified as feasible. Moreover, theoretical parameters of the disc brake are calculated to prepare for comparison with experimental parameters. Finally, prototypes of the DSF sensor and PBP sensor are calibrated and the designed disc brake prototype of mine hoists is tested in the field. Experiments show that the DSF, PBP and other parameters monitored by the disc brake in real time are accurate, and the error is small compared with theoretical parameters. As a result, the faults caused by an insufficient braking force can be detected timely by the disc brake. The present study can provide a train of thought for monitoring disc brake faults.

The kinetic energy of the brake drum of the rotating part of the friction p air is converted into the internal energy of the friction plate on the friction surface, which is very dangerous due to the thermal decay performance of the existing brakes. It is urgent to implement the cooling system of brake in the above conditions. This paper mainly aimed at the braking performance of the thermal decline of the design of automatic control cooling device, first of all by the sensor to collect the car brake signal, with the opening of the cooling system work that will be normal temperature air cooling into cold air and drum to the cooling parts, complete drum brake cooling, improve the active safety performance of automobiles. In this paper, we select the devices used in the cooling system through the actual working condition of the automobile, and finally design a practical solution.

Abstract:Conveyor belts are widely used in ore transportation in large-scale mines for their long transportation range, high safety, and strong economic applicability. Coal mine belt conveyors are not only traditional, simple mechanical conveying devices but also automatic control system operating devices that integrate safety, stability, and low power consumption. In the process of coal mining, a conveyor belt control system also needs to be closely integrated with modern industrial systems and information systems, which greatly improves its work efficiency. The purpose of this article is to improve the methods for designing automatic control systems for electric motors in order to obtain mechanical characteristics close to a constant power line, which would ensure the reliable operation of belt conveyors. An automatic control system was designed based on the controller Siemens S7-1200; then, a mathematical model of an automated electric drive was developed. Based on the mathematical model, a simulation model of an automatic electric drive was built, and the modes were modeled. After designing, the obtained plots of transients completely corresponded to the required transients, which means that the Siemens frequency converter automatic control system (ACS) parameters were calculated quite accurately and the conveyor electric drive met all requirements.
