Abstract:By using the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory,the existence of positive periodic solutions for a kind of nonautonomous competitive system with infinite delay and diffusion is studied.The sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive periodic solutions of the system.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a discrete almost periodic Lotka–Volterra competition system with delays. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the permanence and global attractivity of the system. Further, by means of an almost periodic functional hull theory, we show that the almost periodic system has a unique strictly positive almost periodic solution, which is globally attractive. Some examples are presented to verify our main results.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the positive solutions of the periodic-parabolic logistic equation with indefinite weight function and nonhomogeneous diffusion coefficient. By employing sufficient conditions to guarantee negative principal eigenvalue, we obtain the existence, uniqueness, and stability of the positive periodic solutions. Moreover, we prove that the positive periodic solution tends to the unique positive solution of the corresponding non-autonomous logistic equation when the diffusion rate is large.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish a nonautonomous predator-prey systems with functional response, and study the existence of positive periodic solutions of the systems by the continuation theorem of the coincidence degree theory. A set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive periodic solutions. The main result is verified by numerical simulation.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a nonautonomous two-species impulsive competitive system with infinite delays. By the impulsive comparison theorem and some mathematical analysis, we investigate the permanence, extinction and global attractivity of the system, as well as the influence of impulse perturbation on the dynamic behaviors of this system. For the logistic type impulsive equation with infinite delay, our results improve those of Xuxin Yang, Weibing Wang and Jianhua Shen [Permanence of a logistic type impulsive equation with infinite delay, Applied Mathematics Letters, 24(2011), 420-427]. For the corresponding nonautonomous two-species impulsive competitive system without delays, we discuss its permanence, extinction and global attractivity, which weaken and complement the results of Zhijun Liu and Qinglong Wang [An almost periodic competitive system subject to impulsive perturbations, Applied Mathematics and Computation, 231(2014), 377-385].

Positive solutions and global stability of nonnegative equilibrium are discussed. Sufficient condition independent of delays guaranteeing existence of globally stable equilibrium is given. Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to study the asymptotic behavior of the time-dependent solutions to a coupled system of reaction-diffusion equations with periodic coefficients in unbounded domains, including the whole space R-n, the exterior Omega(e) of a bounded domain and the half-space R-+(n) = {x = (x(1), . . . , x(n)) is an element of R-n; x(n) > 0}, under Dirichlet boundary conditions. It is shown that if the reaction function in the system possesses a mixed quasi monotone property and the corresponding periodic system has a pair of coupled upper and lower solutions then the periodic system has a pair of quasi-solutions and the sector between the quasi-solutions is an attractor of the system of periodic reaction-diffusion equations. Under some additional conditions this attractor leads to the asymptotic stability of a periodic solution for the periodic system. The approach to the problem is based on the method of upper and lower solutions, a ladder argument and a bootstrap technique. Finally, a competitor-competitor-mutualist model is given to illustrate the obtained results.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with positive steady-state solutions of a class of cross-diffusion systems which arise in the study of the predator–prey systems with prey-taxis. Under homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions, we use the theory of fixed point index in positive cones to establish the existence of positive steady-state solutions. By analyzing two related eigenvalues, we further obtain the coexistence region with respect to the growth rates of two species and characterize the differences of coexistence region if different predator–prey interactions are adopted. Additionally, we investigate the limiting behavior of positive steady-state solutions as some parameter tends to infinity. Our results not only generalize the previously known one, but also present some new conclusions.

Abstract:In this Letter, for a general class of delayed periodic Lotka–Volterra systems, we prove some new results on the existence of positive periodic solutions by Schauder's fixed point theorem. The global asymptotical stability of positive periodic solutions is discussed further, and conditions for exponential convergence are given. The conditions we obtained are weaker than the previously known ones and can be easily reduced to several special cases.

Abstract:In this paper, by using the spectral theory of functions and properties of evolution semigroups, we establish conditions on the existence, and uniqueness of asymptotic 1-periodic solutions to a class of abstract differential equations with infinite delay of the form \begin{equation*} \frac{d u(t)}{d t}=A u(t)+L(u_t)+f(t) \end{equation*} where $A$ is the generator of a strongly continuous semigroup of linear operators, $L$ is a bounded linear operator from a phase space $\mathscr{B}$ to a Banach space $X$, $u_t$ is an element of $\mathscr{B}$ which is defined as $u_t(\theta)=u(t+\theta)$ for $\theta \leq 0$ and $f$ is asymptotic 1-periodic in the sense that $\lim\limits_{t \rightarrow \infty}(f(t+1)-$ $f(t))=0$. A Lotka-Volterra model with diffusion and infinite delay is considered to illustrate our results.
