Issues on China's Macroeconomic Policies for Increasing Domestic Demand

Abstract:In terms of maintaining China's economic growth by increasing domestic demand, there should be a more effective adjustment in the fiscal and monetary policies, and it is necessary to implement a positive fiscal policy and a relatively-expansionary monetary policy.On the basis of a multi-angle analysis, this paper points out that, in the process of macro adjustment and control over the economic policies for increasing domestic demand, the country should pay more attention to the use of a positive fiscal policy.The relatively-expansionary monetary policy, however, should be prudent to be used.Finally, it gives some suggestions on how to use fiscal and tax policies more effectively.
