Abstract:The subjects of the study are 6 higher education institutes(HEIs) with high-level sports teams in Zhejiang Province,including Hangzhou,Ningbo and Jinhua who employ the system as trial programs.It adopts the method of literature review,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics.The study also analyzes the top five affecting factors of the competitiveness of these teams,including arrangement of sports,coaches,athletes,and the investment of universities and frequency of competition.To address the problems in the establishment and management of the sports teams,the paper proposes some countermeasures to enhance the development of the high-level sports teams in HEIs.

Research on Types and Characteristics of Sports Clubs in Common Universities of China

Abstract:By questionnaire investigation, expert interview and mathematical statistics, the types of sports clubs in colleges and universities of China were classified and studied. The characteristics of sports clubs developing in colleges and universities of China nowadays were analyzed and summed up. It was considered that the three types of sports clubs in colleges and universities of China have their features of integrity, autonomy, opening, variety, evaluation and management. Sports clubs in colleges and universities are the embodiment of physical education ideology in colleges and universities of China. They have become the carrier and relegation of the hotspots in physical education research of institutions of higher learning and have the important theoretical and practical significance for shortening the distance between educational theory and practice so as to establish a physical education management system of modern universities.

Abstract:This study starts from an analysis of the concept of high-level independent colleges,and then explores the functions and significance of sports games in these colleges. After examining the status quo of sports games in colleges and universities in general,the study discusses ways to reform sports games in high-level independent colleges,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions concerning their development direction. Finally,the study concludes that sports games in high-level independent colleges need to weaken competition,emphasize ability,and encourage participation.

Abstract:This article adheres to the important guiding ideology of “making China strong through sports” and is committed to re-examining the value of traditional sports education. This study, through literature review, field investigation, and comprehensive analysis, takes traditional martial arts as the main cultural representative, summarizes the connotation and current situation of the development of traditional martial arts culture in universities, analyzes the main problems in the development process of traditional martial arts culture, and proposes relevant countermeasures, taking into account the root and innovation of traditional martial arts culture, and deeply exploring its functionality and artistry. This study provides reference basis for improving relevant systems and government decision-making for sports functional departments and management departments in universities.
