Abstract:A kind of control method for step motor is designed,control orders are sent to MSP430F149 via serial port,and then drive step motor.The chip CP2102 used in the serial communications and the chip A3901 can both work only a few components are needed,thus simplifying the drive and control circuits.

Abstract:A stepper motor subdivision control system has been designed in this paper,which is based on ARM7 chip LPC2214 and the LMD18245 electrical machinery special-purpose driver chip.The "linear + sine" wave driver method and the electric current vector constant breadth algorithm is used in this system.The digital wave data is generated by ARM controller,which is converted to corresponding control voltage.The voltage is enlarged by driver chip LMD18245 to drive the two-phase stepper motor.The control sign is input by the keyboard,and the frequency and the subdivided multiple are displayed by liquid crystal.The software based on uCLinux and MiniGUI platform is designed.Multi-purpose control of the stepper motor and 4096 subdivision multiple are realized in the system.

Abstract:The logic circuit for two-phase step motor composed of microcontroller with dedicated motor control chip L297,controlled H bridge made up of high power Mosfet,which drived by chip IR2110.The circuit was simpled and reached high power,constant current and switch control,in the mean time,used the subdivision control to improve control accuracy.This design could applied in high power automation equipment.

Abstract:This article introduces a convenience and feasible system that can take advantage of program to control the I/O of parallel printer interface to drive the stepping motors and that is applied in the experiment device of detection. In order to drive the stepping motors, this system makes use of the data-output ports of parallel printer interface that have the flip-latch function to transmit required-frequency pulse by controlling parallel printer interface's I/O.

Abstract:Base on the analysis of the defects of present five-phase hybrid stepping motor drivers in computerised embroidery machine such as low frequency torque vibrations, high frequency inadequate torque output, multi power supplies and out of general-purpose, this paper designs a general-purpose stepping motor driver based on MCU. The new driver uses single power supply and three-phase excitation and gives PWM output. The design improves the stability in low frequency and the torque-frequency characteristic in high frequency. Even under the condition without impulse-subdivision, it can excite the motor of 2,3,4 phases. It has been applied in the computerised embroidery machine and has achieved a real good effect.

Abstract:Hybrid stepping motor is similar to permanent magnet synchronous motor in functional principle,therefore,it can be controlled by the advanced control technology of permanent magnet synchronous motor.A new control method is obtained from control at aspect of synchronous motor instead of control of phase currency.A three-phase hybrid stepping motor pulse subdivision controller based on TMS320LF2407 DSP is designed based on this theory.

Abstract:A microstep control system of the 2-phase hybrid stepping motor based on DSP and special motor control chip was represented in this paper,the constant torque and multi-level uniform microstep was implemented by software programming,the experimental study was demonstrated on the system.The research on multi-level microstep control indicats that the operation states between two random microstep levels can be changed smoothly by choosing the original balance position for full-step as shifting point.

Abstract:Three-phase reaction stepping motor speed and steering control system is designed based on single chip microcomputer.Input stepping motor pulse frequency adjusts to the stepping motor rotating one of fixed angle.The stepper motor speed is adjusted because of changing stepper angle by controlling the pulse frequency and time delay strategies.This scheme AT89C51 microcontroller timer internal changes CP pulse frequency and stepping motor speed control.Through theoretical and experimental research,the system realized the stepping motor speed and positive negative control functions.The stepping motor intelligence control system was in wide frequency range by changing pulse frequency regulating stepper motor speed and fast starting and stopping and positive negative control.

Abstract:Stepping motor is the most popular executive component in high performance textile machinery, especially in the computerised embroidery machine. Five-phase hybrid stepping motor drivers in the computerised embroidery machine have a good many defects such as low frequency torque vibrations, high frequency inadequate torque output and multi power supplies. Combined with theoretical analysis, this paper gives a reformative driver based on analysis of present stepping motor drivers. This driver uses single power supply and three-phase excitation and gives PWM output. The design improves the stability in low frequency and the torque-frequency characteristic in high frequency and it has been applied in the computerised embroidery machine and has achieved a real good effect.

Abstract:In order to improve microstep control precision,the function ralation between two-phase hybrid stepping motor microstep step pitch vector angle and microstep current was taken as the control wave of microstep current,and the numerical solution was derived for the function. The precision control of microstep eurrent and on-line calculating of mierostep current set value was realized.The application in L297+ L298 driving system with this method was successful,and the driving circuit simple and agility of the system was reached.

Abstract:In order to meet the needs of operation and management of multiple stepping motors in the current Internet of things environment, this paper designed the software and hardware of the stepping motor drive management system under the control of a single-chip microcomputer based on LabVIEW, which is a graphical programming platform developed by National Instruments Corporation of the United States, and tested and verified the functions of the system. The software part of the system transmitted data between the host computer and the driver terminal based on a service cloud platform called Easy-Control, realizing the network real-time online management operation function. In the hardware design, the existing functions of the STM32F407ZGT6 single-chip microcomputer were combined with the the design of the special driver chip LV8726TA to simplify the circuit design of hardware to increase system stability. The comparison demonstrated that the software and hardware of the system were developed on the LabVIEW platform, which had the advantages of high efficiency, short development cycle, low cost, and convenient function expansion. This work provides a scheme for the design and implementation of similar systems.

Abstract:A CMOS integrated circuit for the closed-loop drive of step motors that avoids direct rotor position sensing is reported. The sequencer is integrated with the control circuit. The circuit has been fabricated on a 4 μm gate array, and its operation with the motor and chopper drive is characterized. Dynamic torque-speed characteristics, which are linear up to 85% of the maximum static torque with a 40% increase in power output compared to open-loop operation, have been obtained from a test motor. The CMOS integrated circuit controller makes the use of a step motor a viable alternative to series DC motors. It can be extended to provide a closed-loop drive circuit for step-mode operation

Abstract:A control system of three-phase hybrid stepping motor based on AT89C51 is introduced in this paper.With current-tracing PWM method,the current of three-phase windings was controlled to close sinusoidal wave,thus round magnetic field with approximate constant amplitude in the electrical machinery can be formed.By the sine-wave microstep method,resolution ratio of hybrid stepping motor can be improved and low-frequency vibration can be weaken synchronously.

The operation of the circuit is illustrated by application of the controller to a commercial variable reluctance type step motor. Abstract:Many scholars at home and abroad have conducted a lot of research on pole-changing induction motor, but in conclusion, when switching motors with different pole pairs, which makes it impossible to obtain stepless speed regulation like ordinary three-phase motors. This paper analyzes the literature and develops a control system suitable for two-speed pole-changing motor drive, using a single MCU with dual cores to obtain a continuous speed during the pole-changing process, which can truly widen the speed range for intelligent electronic control system of automobile. This paper verifies the feasibility from theoretical design of the drive circuit to experiments, and brings a new prospect for the development of electric vehicles.

Abstract:The stride angle of a two-phase hybrid stepper was usually 1.8° or 0.9° degrees.For smaller angle control,subdivision of stride angle was needed.Based on PWM function of a microcontroller,a stepper driving circuit was designed,and the effect of winding coil induction on transient current was analyzed.Program was written to realize 24 steps subdivision.Finally,a simple test device was design to check whether the subdivision was correct.The results showed that the designed circuit and program made it the subdivision,and the error was in an acceptable range.

Abstract:The work characteristics of stepper motors briefly are analyzed,and provide a practical solution for the digital control of stepper motors based on single-chip microcomputer.This control system takes full advantage of integrated circuit(IC) relative to traditional control circuit,and simplifies the control circuit while receive the same control function.The system is easy to operate.The position of stepper motor can be controlled accurately based with the visualization and real-time features.At the same time,the users can operate the stepper motors online.

Abstract:This paper presents two novel microstepping control methods specially designed for electromagnetic micromotors with star-connected winding. The details of the micromotor structure are described. Two microstepping methods, virtual coil and torque-synthesis current division methods, have been developed to realize the accuracy position precision control. Electrical design instead of mechanical design is adopted to overcome the present difficulty in machining a micro stepper motor. Some initial results in the real microrobot system which driven by the electromagnetic micromotor are given to show the performance of these methods.
