Abstract:OBJECTIVE To investigate the distribution and antibiotic resistance of 2059 pathogens in middle-segment urine samples of inpatients and outpatients,to give guidence of rational use of antibiotics in clinic.METHODS Bacteria were identified by VITEDK-60 system. All of the isolates were tested by Kirby-Bauer susceptibility method. The data were analyzed by Whonet 5.4.RESULTS Escherichia coli(37.0%),Enterococcus faecalis(9.7%) and Klebsiella pneumoniae(9.1%) were the three most common bacteria in urinary tract infections.resistance rates of E.coli isolated from inpatients to cephalosporin and fluoroquinolones were above 54%,K.pneumoniae resistance rate to cephalosporin was over 44%,significantly higher than that of outpatient group(P0.01).The resistant rates of E.faecalis from inpatient group to ampicillin and high concentration gentamicin(17.9% and 52.5%) were significantly higher than that of outpatient group(3.6% and 38.5%).CONCLUSIONS Clinicians should pay close attention to the changes and resistance of pathogenic bacteria and use antibiotics rationally.
