Abstract:In order to solve the problems of applying OPC (OLE for process control) technology to remote supervision, this paper proposes a new framework of distributed fieldbus remote monitoring system based on the Windows DNA(distributed Internet applications architecture) developing model, which adopts the XML (extensible markup language) and SOAP (simple object access protocol) technology as communication mechanism of distributed components. This new framework not only has a favorable extension ability, but also solves the problems appearing in traditional monitoring systems and makes fieldbus remote supervision possible.

Abstract:For the application of real-time database in a petrochemical plant,the article put forwards to a new concept to resolve the communication among real-time database and DCS,control software,and Web-based user interface.The scheme is developed based on Windows 2000 Server using the technique of multe-threading,anolymous pipe and WinSock,etc.The results of long industrial running of this scheme show that it is more effective and feasible for industrial process.

Abstract:With the development of industrial automation, communication between OLE for Process Control(OPC) applications in heterogeneous platforms becomes a frequent issue in industrial process control area.This paper describes three methods, using EntireX DCOM/Java/XML OPC respectively to develop OPC clients under Linux.OPC client on Linux platform is able to communicate with OPC server on Windows platform, which is a successful implementation of OPC cross-platform communication.Key technologies in each method are discussed and corresponding code is also included with explicit explanation.A comparison is made between all implementations, based on which their further application in industrial environment is evaluated.

Abstract:This paper puts forward a method of implementing OPC data access between heterogeneous operating system platforms based on TCP/IP.In this method,smartly.TCP/IP communication acts as the bridge between the heterogeneous platforms,so it realizes the cross-platform OPC data access effectively and conveniently.This method can be used for universal reference towards various cross-platform OPC data access problems in industry process control field.It is successfully applied to the Alpha Magnetic System-02(AMS-02) Cryogenic Ground Support Equipment-Electric System(CGSE-ES)project,and the interface program is real-time,flexible,reliable and very easy to realize.

Abstract:The Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System (EPICS) is a standard development tool and middleware for the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) of large scientific projects. If EPICS exchanges data with different SCADA, the problem need to be solved by a communication specification. We choose Object Linking and Embedding for Process Control Unified Architecture (OPC UA) Client Server mode as the data exchange interface between EPICS and other SCADA. In this paper we use LabVIEW to develop related applications and test them in simulated industrial Ethernet. The test results meet the data exchange requirements between different SCADA, and the method provides an effective solution for the data exchange problems of large scientific projects.

Abstract:Taking the advantage of network distributed openness and DSP high speed signal processing ability, the design and elements of system's hardware and software are described, as well as how it works through embedded network to make access to user station and transmit data by XML-Socket. Abstract:To overcome the bad real-time performance of remote control system usually used in industrial field,a method is given to implement remote control based on real-time Ethernet,which combines real-time Ethernet,virtual instrument and optic fiber transmission.The result of experiment indicates that the remote control system based on real-time Ethernet has high reliability,better real-time performance and stronger anti-jamming ability,compared with the common PLC remote control system.It has great value in the control of large industrial field.

Abstract:To support ERP and PDM system integration better, the characteristics are analyzed. The technology of remote function call is presented. A kind of integration model of ERP and PDM is composed. Data exchange of system integration based on data stream direction is discussed. The conception of heterogeneous data translator is put forward, and its data structure is given. The advantages of RFC was expounded.
