Essence of Virtual Technology and Its Influence on Philosophy

Abstract:Accompanied with the rising virtual technology,the two simple figures 0 and 1 are available to code/decode digitally the whole world,thus forming the standardization for various time-varying information acquisition,processing,storage and transmission.In the sense that a digitized world will change our traditional understanding of the world,the virtual technology,as a derivative media system to create a virtual reality,pushes philosophy to change by virtue of its digitization attributes instead of the traditional meaning of philosophy.The virtual technology not only participates in practice to form a virtual practice so as to provide a basic change for the philosophy structure,but also affects the mode of philosophical thinking then forms a virtual thinking mode to promote the unification of virtual practice and virtual cognition.Moreover,it not only forms a virtual cognition and results in a change in cognition activity to normalize the reality by possibility,but also causes the research methods of philosophy to be a philosophical experiment,thus turning the philosophical research to be empirical.
