Abstract:Objective Investigate the actuality of resources of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi both wildness and cultivation,to provide the reference of the study on continual utilization.MethodsAnalyze the main problem by references,together with visiting and surveying on the spot.ResultsThe wild resource of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi has been exploited for more than ten years.Because of depredating,the resources decreased sharply.Since the department and corporations pay more attention to the cultivated medicinal materials,the cultivated area becomes progressively.But there are still many differences in qualities of Radix Scutellariae by reason of degenerate germplasm resources and incomplete administering in cultivation.ConclusionThe guarantees of protecting the resources of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi are heightening the power of protecting the wildness resources,accelerating the excellent genus for breeding,enhancing the research on growing technology,improving the level of prosecution,establishing the GAP cultivation, and so on.
