Abstract:Nowadays,there are two obstacles to the development of Chinese librarianship,i.e.the lack of a library law and the division of different library systems.The authors think that we can use law to guarantee the parallel development of libraries in different systems.Private libraries are an important kind of libraries suitable to be developed in urban communities,small towns and suburban areas.1 fig. 10 refs.
