Rosa Luxemburg's Criticism of Soviet Government

Abstract:Rosa Luxemburg sung highly of the October Revolution but proposed criticism in six aspects concerning the new-born Soviet government.She criticized the government for distributing land to farmers and hence setting down obstacles for later socialism;she criticized the government for bilaterally implementing national self-determination and hence sending a knife into enemies' hands;she criticized the government for banning constitutional conference and hence hampering people's active political life;she criticized the government for implementing utopian right to general election and hence leading to a temporarily prepared blank paper in lack of life;she criticized the government for abolishing freedom of the press,association,assembly and hence resulting in a savage public life;she also criticized the government for antagonizing democracy and dictatorship and hence keeping itself far from socialism.Although Rosa Luxemburg proposed these warnings nearly over 90 years ago,these ideas still have a sense of reality and offer deep inspirations.
