Management Status of Implantable Medical Devices in the Medical Institutes of One City

Abstract:Objective To study the management status of implantable medical devices in one city, to find the problems existing, and raise suggests to improve the management. Methods Quantitative studies with strata randomized sampling of hospitals, and interview with responsible persons in the hospitals. Results In the 7 key record points, the highest rate of the point with record is 99.68%, the lowest is 22.22%, while blank record items are common in all key points. Conclusions The management status of implantable medical devices in the city is unsatisfactory, further efforts such as legislation, supervision, safety consciousness and scientific management techniques should be put.
