Abstract:This paper elaborates the development of spatial structure in our country.Because the forms and types are colorful and incessantly innovating,it is necessary to divide spatial structure by component elements.After the 21th century,the development of our nation’s spatial structure comes into a new period that the application range and fields for spatial structure extend continuously.Besides the large-span public buildings such as gymnasiums and airports,there are extensive and innovative applications including large-scale railway stations,stations awning without column,bridges and high-rise buildings for spatial structure.About the international cooperation,it is suggested to have an open mind and optimistic view towards the fact that that architecture scheme for our nation’s spatial structures are frequently led by foreign companies.China is already a country with a great deal of the top of the world spatial structures,thus it is our responsibility to strive to create even better and advanced spatial structures.Some issues which we should pay more attention are pointed out.

Abstract:As the main factors of city scenes,the judgment of city architectural style was fuzzy and arbitrary.Based on the mathematical multi-factor-weighted model,this paper expounds how to determine the city architectural style through choosing the influence factors,assigning factor weight,and optimum weight stacking,etc.The study of architectural style in Yuhuan is taken as an example,and it shows that this method can meet the needs of urban design and construction,and has a greater operability.

Abstract:Abstract Under the influence of the information age, modern architecture tends to develop in a diversified direction. Pop art, which was born in the middle of the 20th century, is the product of a specific historical period. the popular, grotesque and playful art form shown by pop art has a far-reaching impact on the development of modern architectural forms. to a certain extent, pop art breaks the boundary between art and life in a relaxed and playful popular way. With the increasingly monotonous style of modernist architecture, the appearance of the city has become increasingly rigid and monotonous. Pop architecture has entered the public line of sight with its popular and witty characteristics, injecting new vitality into modern architecture. However, some elements and design techniques of pop architecture can still be found in today‘s architecture and have a far-reaching impact. Through the analysis of the emergence, development and characteristics of pop art, combined with the relevant cases of modern pop architecture at home and abroad, from the point of view of collage integration, figurative architecture and mechanical reproduction, this paper expounds the application of pop art in modern architectural form design, and provides a new way for reference in architectural form design.

Abstract:There are great differences between architectural design and structural design in the aspects of thinking mode and design objective. The design of practical projects always develops along with compromise between the two professions. This working pattern is not considered as an effective way for structures in taking its good effects in architectural design, and may probably lead to waste. Penetration of contemporary digital technologies in architectural industry makes it possible for the architectural and structural design to be integrated on the digital platform. In the 2014 Tsinghua parametric design workshop, forms of folding plate structure are explored along with the teaching process of Grasshopper. Form generation and structural simulation are carried out on the Grasshopper platform. Laser cutting and 3D printing technologies are also employed in elements fabrication. This article introduces the technical issues and thinking related to this experimental project.

Abstract:When architect Christian Kerez and structural engineer Joseph Schwartz try to pursuit extreme experience that juxtaposes life and scenery, the structures supporting that idea are destined to be informal.According to fixed routines,these informal structures are supposed to be complicated in appearance,but in the works of Kerez and Schwartz, the informal structures present concise and looming qualities in form.The answer for how architectural form could maintain both in a unique and concise way is to integrate form and force organically,and one way to achieve this objective is graphic-statics operation.

Abstract:: I n today's world architectural design trend, combining traditional cultural elements with modern design concepts has become a new trend. This paper is to discuss the integration and innovation of traditional cultural elements in modern architectural creation, and to analyze its use and influence in modern architectural creation. First of all, this paper combs the history and cultural value of traditional cultural elements, and analyzes how to integrate the traditional elements into modern architectural design and its innovation. Combined with specific cases, it illustrates how to combine traditional elements and modern design concepts to reflect modern functional requirements without losing the traditional flavor. On this basis, the influence and potential value of this design trend for future architectural design are discussed.

Abstract:New trends in designing cultural spaces have applied to visualize futuristic ideas in interior architecture designs through contemporary art. Interior architecture design is always drawn inspiration from the arts; thus, the correlation between trends of contemporary art and interior architecture design has found in many applications of artists’ works that assist designers to translate their works with design language through characteristics of simplicity, harmony, and economic balance. Contemporary art is a part of a cultural dialogue that can be concerned with the expression of the personal and cultural identity of the community. Effective design for cultural spaces is achieving it in variety of innovated ideas that can bring together the technology of interactive virtual arts to serve its purpose as well as new materials in use. Away from contemporary art, contemporary architecture is the twenty-first-century art that could be in different forms and varies from the style of postmodernism to the style of high-tech one that currently widely in used. The aim is to shed light on newest trends of contemporary art and its role in designing culture spaces as in elements of floors, ceiling, walls, furniture, and lighting of interior architecture design through selecting number of applications and cases studies worldwide and performing extensive comparative study to serve the purpose and to capitalize on the trend and employed in the creation of design solutions flexible to adapt diverse spreads spatial cultural activities taken as a base or guide to interior architecture designers to follow and reduplicated in their hometowns.
