Abstract:Contemporary architectural design is flourishing in China,and new structural design concepts and techniques for the construction brings a lot of inspirations and creative thinking into architectural design.However,there are also architectural works with unreasonable yet costly structure system,which considers no historical context and makes negative impact on the creativity of today's architectural design.On the other hand,following foreign architectural masterpieces blindly exerts a strong influence on Chinese market and this phenomenon raises academic concern.Therefore,it is necessary to recognize the inherent nature of how the internal structural elements of a building deliver the living expression of the external artistic representaiton.This study attempts to remind domestic architects to adhere to the sound structural principles in the creative design process to achieve artistic impact with value,quality and performance.Through the study of artistic architectural design of historical meaning and its contribution to the progress of civilization,the modern masterpieces which have achieved the balance of technical and artistic expression,can be further investigated and analyzed.The authors call for an objective evaluation framework be developed to illustrate the interaction of such "technical" and "artistic" expressions,which architects may apply in their creative design process to contribute a higher level of harmony to our living environment.

Abstract:: I n today's world architectural design trend, combining traditional cultural elements with modern design concepts has become a new trend. This paper is to discuss the integration and innovation of traditional cultural elements in modern architectural creation, and to analyze its use and influence in modern architectural creation. First of all, this paper combs the history and cultural value of traditional cultural elements, and analyzes how to integrate the traditional elements into modern architectural design and its innovation. Combined with specific cases, it illustrates how to combine traditional elements and modern design concepts to reflect modern functional requirements without losing the traditional flavor. On this basis, the influence and potential value of this design trend for future architectural design are discussed.

Abstract:Architectural design concerns about space and form, and is usually within the perspective of cultural trend. In the examination and appreciation of architectural design, nowadays, technology is attaching growing significance. Technology is never the final aim of design and creation but the method and process to them. During this course, however, architects could not ignore such areas as structural form, interface surface, constructing methods, even materials and facilities and infrastructural components. As different aspects, technology becomes gradually from method and means to a phenomenon and purpose, and even is deliberately and exaggeratedly expressed. Technical performance has become the expression of innovative trend in architectural creation and inclusive multi-orientation. Based on the study of architectural design, temporal mission of technology is analyzed; dual-trend of technology is generalized; designing speculation of technology is dissected; future tendency of technology is shown. Architectural construction has entered real technology-oriented era. Design and technology are two aspects of architecture, and are with a relationship of mutual-promoted and circular spiral pattern.
