A study of knowledge base on economy in our country's three large economic region

Abstract:The knowledge base of region economy has an important effect on the development of regional economy.The paper links NIS theory with triple helix model among 'technology,organization,and territory',and constructs framework model of knowledge base of regional economy,and uses the correlative data of industry in statistical almanac and studies the knowledge base of economy in our country' three large economic region which are Yangtze river delta,Pearl river delta and Beijin-Tianjin-Hebei.The conclusions are as follows: the knowledge base of Yangtze river delta is better than Pearl river delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei from the perspective of entirety;the degree of regional economic integration of Pearl river delta is highest from the perspective of difference of knowledge base;the innovative model of Pearl river delta is closer to an over-lapping model from the perspective of the model of triple helix;the knowledge base of Yangtze river delta that its feature is private economy is superior to Pearl river delta from the perspective of ownership type.
