Industry Linkages and Its Spillover and Feedback Effect among Three Regions in China——An Empirical Study Based on Multi-Regional Input-Output Analysis Technology

Abstract:In this paper we extend the traditional model of two-egional input-output pro-duced by Isard,Miller and Round and give a method to measure the effect such as the forward and backward linkages of intra-regional multiple effect,inter-regional spillover effect and feedback effect of three regions by multi-regional input-output analysis.After then,we estimate the three effect of multiple,spillover and feedback among three regions by using the data of China’s multi-regional input-output tables.The result shows that the development of eastern region has small spillover effect on the western region in China,even smaller than that of the western on the eastern.The center region hasn’t played as the role of ties in regional economics,which largely hinders the development of regional coordination.Therefore,in order to achieve the strategic coordination among regions and inter-region welfare compensation,it is necessary to fasten the industry transfer and expand the spill-over efficiency of public knowledge among regions.
