Abstract:Objective To analyze effect of the implementation of the clinic appointment service in Shanghai hospital to provide a reference for the future clinic appointment service work advancement. Methods Understanding the effect of the implementation in the clinic appointment service through on-site surveys, expert group interviews and data collection.Results Clinic appointment service information system, service system, management system and evaluation system are gradually improved, and play a huge role in the implementation process of the clinic appointment. Conclusion Clinic appointment model has gradually been accepted by the patients. It not only can decrease the invalid waiting time of the patients in the medical treatment, but also can ease "difficult in seeing doctors". And it can solve the problem in unreasonable distribution of medical resources as well. However, the clinic appointment can not fundamentally solve the problem of scarce medical resources, inequality of supply and demand relationship.

Abstract:Objective Basing on functional requirements of military hospital apartment management and distribution system analyzing,to design an apartment management and distribution system for more accurate and efficient information management of hospital logistics,in order to reduce traditionally experience-based manual management and improve the unbalance between hardware and software development during the informationization process.Methods The system was designed using SQL database as backend system and PowerBuilder data application system as the front-end development tool.Results Using the system,the information of camp location,buildings,apartments and living situation could be tracked,queried,modified and deleted in real-time by the managers.Conclusions By using of the system,the management and allocation of apartments in the military hospital camp are improved effectively,which upgrad the management of hospital camp property.The system is easy to operate and should be used widely.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2011,32(3):38-40,42]

Abstract:To investigate the composition and characteristics of appointment scheduling system and evaluate the pilot appointment scheduling system in Beijing hospitals in order to provide the evidence for the general application.Appointment system was constituted by appointment mode,appointment rule and scheduling rule.Beijing appointment scheduling system was integrated by advanced appointment mode,IBFI appointment rule and FCFA scheduling rule.According the characteristics of tertiary hospitals in Beijing,the advanced appointment mode and IBFI appointment rule were suitable for Beijing appointment system,however,FCFA scheduling rule had the potential for improvement,such as RTBG and ALTER.This combination will be more suitable for outpatient service status in tertiary hospital.

Abstract:The problems and challenges of outpatient appointment services against the background of hospitals were selected freely by patients through documents review and case study in Shanghai.The main findings included the lack of sustainability of developing the outpatient appointment services platform,and the expansion of content.Means of appointment was restrained by some reality factors,and implementing "real-name appointment" and "priority right with appointment" were very difficult.Suggestions include expanding the means of appointment,developing cost constraint mechanism,strengthening management of appointment rules,and actively carrying out public education and playing a synergy effect between outpatient appointment services and other health reform initiatives.

Abstract:With the popularization of electronic health data, it is possible to realize intelligent hospital appointment system. Compared with traditional hospital appointment system, the new appointment system based on Health Data Bank (HDB) can realize the optimal ‘Doctor-Patient’ matching under the constraint of medical resources, by combining the matching degree between them. Considering the preference of doctors and patients, this paper established a matching framework based on multi-objective programming and prospect theory, and then verifies the effectiveness and stability of the system by compared with the traditional First-Come-First-Served (FCFS) appointment mechanism.

Abstract:As a public platform in the hospital, department of medical technology plays an important role in outpatient, and efficiency and quality of medical examination affect the general outpatient service. Abstract:General out-patient appointment care is the inevitable trend of the development of large tertiary public hospital.Based on the status quo analysis of general out-patient appointment care,the common bottleneck of general outpatient care such as huge people flow,the confusing business process,laggard awareness on appointment service,lack of information system support and poor patient compliance were summarized.Taking dermatology department as a pilot department,new mode which matches hospital appointment regulation and business process is implemented to effective diffluence patient,shorten waiting time and promote medical care environment.

Abstract:The traditional process of examination and appointment service had drawbacks for departments of medical technology.The examination systems ran the examination and appointment process on their own way.Resources couldn't be shared.Patients' waiting time was too long.In order to solve the problems above,the process of hospital examination and appointment had been reorganized and optimized.Unified management was put forward for departments of medical technology in the hospital,which realized the combination of unified appointment and self-help appointment.At the same time,it provided intelligent-reminder service which informed the examination and appointment message to the patients.

Abstract:BackgroundAs a part of nationwide healthcare reforms, the Chinese government launched web-based appointment systems (WAS) to provide a solution to problems around outpatient appointments and services. These have been in place in all Chinese public tertiary hospitals since 2009.MethodsQuestionnaires were collected from both patients and doctors in one large tertiary public hospital in Shanghai, China.Data were analyzed to measure their satisfaction and views about the WAS.ResultsThe 1000 outpatients randomly selected for the survey were least satisfied about the waiting time to see a doctor. Even though the WAS provided a much more convenient booking method, only 17% of patients used it. Of the 197 doctors surveyed, over 90% thought it was necessary to provide alternative forms of appointment booking systems for outpatients. However, about 80% of those doctors who were not associated professors would like to provide an ‘on-the-spot’ appointment option, which would lead to longer waits for patients.ConclusionsPatients were least satisfied about the waiting times. To effectively reduce appointment-waiting times is therefore an urgent issue. Despite the benefits of using the WAS, most patients still registered via the usual method of queuing, suggesting that hospitals and health service providers should promote and encourage the use of the WAS. Furthermore, Chinese health providers need to help doctors to take others’ opinions or feedback into consideration when treating patients to minimize the gap between patients’ and doctors’ opinions. These findings may provide useful information for both practitioners and regulators, and improve recognition of this efficient and useful booking system, which may have far-reaching and positive implications for China’s ongoing reforms.

Abstract:objectives To seek for a software of managing personal cases which can be applied by the dentists. Methods Based on the network database summary and the combination of common personal case management methods, the comprehensive summary of the software was conducted from the qualitative analysis of the research. Results With Excel, folders, Excel combining folders, database software(Epidata, Acess and EndNote), the personal cases could be managed effectively. Conclusion In the application of oral medicine, each personal case management software had its advantages and disadvantages, Excel combining folders might be the most appropriate method of the dental doctors.

Abstract:Objective As the demand for medical care continues to grow, quality medical resources cannot fully meet the growing needs of the general public. How to provide convenience for patients and save patient's waiting time to improve outpatient work efficiency is the most concerned issue for patients and is a common problem faced by large public hospitals. Methods Based on the background of'Internet + ', this article explores the daily consultation time by half hour as a unit according to the time-based full appointment medical treatment. According to the characteristics of different departments, the number of theoretical consultations per unit time is set to the patient's visit time which can be specific to the minute, and through the provision of an appointment registration, the patient can know the time of his/her visit when making an appointment, understand the registration expert's clinic time, reduce the concentration and detention of the patient, and further protect the patient's medical safety as well as to achieve the diversion of the visiting population and improve the medical environment. Results In the southern part of our hospital, the current situation of supply and demand of hospital outpatient clinics, after the appointment registration, based on the summary of this experience, we proposed a time-based full appointment registration system, which through the nearly half a year of exploration and practice, achieved good results. The system can effectively improve the appointment rate of outpatients, optimize the time distribution of outpatients, and effectively facilitate patients to seek medical treatment. Conclusion The implementation of the multi-channel model with full-schedule appointments has effectively changed the patient's registration habits and improved the appointment rate. At the same time, it has also improved the medical environment and rationalized the allocation of medical resources, which is conducive to the long-term development of the hospital.

Abstract:This paper introduces the practice of automatic adding of patient appointments in our hospital by predicting the total appointments in theory by calculation the visit speed of the current shift of doctors.In this way,doctors with higher speed of visit or have too few appointments are possible to attend more patients.This method is highly accurate and can provide a basis for the readjustment of the ceiling of appointment in the out-patient department.

Abstract:With the continuous development of the internet industry, most hospitals have started to adopt online appointment and registration systems. Patients can easily make appointments and register online, saving the waiting time for patients to queue up and register at the hospital. At the same time, it effectively avoids the problem of personnel concentration and cross infection caused by centralized hospital registration. After registering with a real name, the user logs into the registration system, selects the corresponding hospital department, determines the required doctor, makes an online appointment for registration, and then goes to the hospital for treatment at the agreed time. Experiments have shown that the hospital appointment and registration system not only facilitate patients, saves patient time, but also makes hospital registration work efficient and standardized, with good application value.

Abstract:Oral health is an integral part of overall health, and poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of health problems. Modern oral care has greatly improved our quality of life, but the increasing demand for routine dental checkups and treatments calls for improved systems for managing patient records and appointments. While technology has significantly enhanced the efficacy and experience of dental care, many dental clinics still rely on paper records to record the patient’s oral condition, but these are not easily accessible to the patients for viewing. This study aims to address the issue by developing a Dental Clinic Management System to manage patient appointments and records. This system will allow patients to manage their appointments, view their dental history, and receive comments from dentists. Dentists will be able to view appointments, perform treatments, and provide feedback to patients, while the administrator or receptionist will be able to manage appointments, view records, and create invoices. By streamlining dental clinic management, this system aims to improve the overall quality of oral healthcare.

Abstract:In response to the call for national Internet medical treatment, a large number of registration reservation systems have appeared in major hospitals. The emergence of hospital appointment system greatly alleviates the problem of ”registration difficulty” in hospital and solves the problem of crowding and inefficiencies in hospital outpatients. The usability, stability, and efficiency nature of the reservation system determines whether the user is willing to make an appointment with the reservation system. Therefore, during the phase of user interface designing and business process designing, it is necessary to fully consider the user's application experience. This paper takes the hospital outpatient appointment system developed by a medical software enterprises in Shandong Province as an example to analyze the back-end review text data of the system. Based on the LDA topic model, patients' concerns are extracted, and then the reservation system is improved according to the patients' dissatisfaction with the contents of concerns, so as to improve the service quality of the hospital reservation system.
[Optimize the Service Flow of Stomatological Department to Accommodate Outpatient's Demands].

Abstract:PURPOSE To provide measures to dispose of unsatisfactory service links for outpatients, and to optimize the service flow of department of stomatology. METHODS Four hundred and seventy-nine questionnaires were delivered in Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The questionnaires included 15 questions relating to general experience in department of stomatology and assessment on separate link of service flow. 5-point grades were set up for each question. Descriptive statistics analysis, Student's t test and analysis of variance were performed using SPSS13.0 software package. RESULTS The general satisfaction rate was 4.68. The lowest grades were given when the outpatients waited for too long, shuttled among different sections, and the attending doctors gave little explanation concerning diagnosis and treatment. CONCLUSIONS Measures such as examination by appointment at specific period of time, post-pay examination, more humanistic triage, establishment of integrated section of stomatology, more reasonable sequence of examination should be adopted to optimize outpatient service flow. By doing so, outpatients' experience of dental care will be effectively improved. Abstract:This paper analyzes the problems existing in the appointment register,such as the basic platform,the doctor-patient habits,management,treatment process and reservation quality of personnel and etc.It implements a series of ways of breakthrough the "bottleneck",for example: a unified reservation platform building,setting up a VPN,formulation of strict rules and regulations of outpatient doctor,creation of a system of an army of two-way referral,carrying out a variety of standardized training,running a full reservation mode and so on,putting into practice.It can optimize the out-patient service processes and improve medical quality,efficiency and patients' satisfaction,which achieve a win-win situation between doctors and patients that may provide a reference to improve the booking service mechanism.

Abstract:This paper based the practice of our hospital that joined the local city's unified platform for an appointment and carry out a full outpatient appointment. Analyze the drawbacks to the traditional appointment. Discuss the implementation methods of military hospital joined the local city's unified platform for an appointment:Preliminary investigation outpatient doctor visits habit, transformation software system, additional hardware facilities, resolve issues of confidentiality of military system, strengthen the doctor-patient management and attendance and so on. It can receive good results, break a fragmented situation, realize the city's unified appointment, share the city's medical resources, optimize the treatment process, expand the appointment time, scope and approach, expand services,update number table, break through the "bottleneck" of booking service, so as to promote the full booking service for reference.

Abstract:Objective: To explore the application effects of general outpatient population distribution and time-share appointment and analyze the methods for improving reservation service. Method: The authors made the retrospective analysis on the differences in reservation in different outpatients, flowdistribution of visiting time of the patients with appointment and the ones without appointment, non-medical waiting time, actual visit time based on the relevant medical data in 3 general outpatients of pediatric internal medicine, dermatology and neurology in Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to M edical College of Shanghai Jiaotong University from January, 2015 to December, 2017. Result: The appointment rate of the pilot general clinic is 11.34％ and the absenteeism reaches 30.99％. The appointment service shortens the waiting time and increases the actual treating time of the patients, which makes the diversified visits of patients. There are the differences in appointment rates, booking ways and reservation results in different departments. Conclusion: The implementation of time-share appointment in general outpatients can reduce the failure of the appointments by means of informatization according to the different attributes of the departments and population flow, and promote the construction of medical service system with hierarchical diagnosis and treatment.
