Abstract:The project titled “Online Hospital Appointment Booking” initiative is a web-based programme. It keeps track of all meetings and plans for patients and doctors that take place at the various medical facilities. The hospital employees, who control the appointment data, are included in the two tiers of user management supported by the system. The people who use the hospital's services and the physicians are included in the user category. Administrators can perform operations on more delicate and private document modules that hold various pieces of information about physicians and patients in order to guarantee confidentiality. Systems allow for the user-level recording of new cases. The medical personnel registers doctors. Making an appointment with a doctor and viewing the doctor's information, including meeting dates and times, are both possible from the user's account as a patient. The patient will also gain the added advantage of being able to speak with a doctor about his condition and have the doctor view it, provided that both parties agree beforehand. The current technique allows phone or serial calls from the facility for medical appointments. The recommended method can be used to keep track of patient data, add new patients, describe appointments, and make accessible future references. Users and administrators can more easily find records. For the back-end of the project, PHP and MySQL were used, and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS are used for the front-end in this project. The main goal is to make it simpler for people to quickly book appointments and find the doctor's available schedule. A scheduled meeting is advantageous for the practitioner as well.
