Abstract:Chinese female hockey team is the only team of collective events to get medal in Beijing Olympic Games.By analyzing the performance of Chinese female hockey team,the author provide some suggestions for the development of hockey event in China so as to get better achievements in the future.

Abstract:Through using the method of literature review,on-site monitoring and observation,video resolution,truth-point description and mathematical statistics,this paper makes evaluation on technical and tactical application of Chinese woman volleyball team during preparing for Beijing Olympic Games.The result shows that the Chinese team needs improvement in the following aspects such as service reception,block front,defensive stand in individual round,and the performance of double back flight tactics.Meanwhile,the research group studies its main competitors by focusing on their serving placement pattern,service reception formation,composition and score effect of first attack tactics in all rounds,and the offensive characteristics of key players.Based on existing problems,some countermeasures and suggestions are put forwarded.

Abstract:This is an observational retrospective study analyzed the performance of the Chinese women's national field hockey team during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2021 National Games to assess the impact of opposition quality on performance. Game statistics were collected using notational analysis software for 76 Olympic and 40 National Games matches. Non-parametric Mann-Whitney U tests were used to compare tournaments. No significant differences existed for 35 out of 38 metrics, except Offense in 25-Yd Area (P = 0.013), Handball Style (P = 0.000) and Entry into Arc - Right Lane (P = 0.017). When exclusively considering Chinese national team's observations, superior National Games performance did emerge for Shot (P = 0.046), Goal from Short Corner (P = 0.044), Into the Arc (P = 0.046), Entry into Arc - Q3 (P = 0.009), Dribble into the Arc (P = 0.046), Handball Style into Arc (P = 0.041), Forehand Shot (P = 0.033), and Small Skill Shot (P = 0.014). The study underscores the influence of opposition quality on team performance, with a need for targeted improvements in arc penetration efficacy, conversion rates of shots to goals, and adaptation of tactical approaches against stronger defenses. The research points towards the need for strategic high-performance programs, improved domestic league quality, and a structured youth development system to elevate the overall standard of Chinese field hockey to achieve global competitiveness.

Abstract:This research focused on examining the Chinese professional hockey club in the Canadian Women's Hockey League, the Chinese national women's hockey team in the context of an emerging market for hockey, and the Chinese government's winter sports strategy. We employed a mix of critical feminist theory and the concept of institutionalization to break down the position and aims of women's hockey development in China. Data were analyzed through content analysis methods. Findings indicated that ice hockey development in China has framed the leveraging strategies for the success of the 2022 Winter Olympics with opportunities and multiple resources, and the government and private actors are trying to reduce the gaps of inequality by providing equal rights, increasing female players' payments, building girls' teams, and making national heroines.

Abstract:China grabbed 32 gold medals with excellent achievem ents and finished at a historical second place in the Athens Olympic Games,which surpassed the Russia,the sports superpower for the first time and being included into the first group of world competitive sports countries.Two years later,the Olympic Games will come back to Beijing,and Chinese people will welcome athletes and coaches from over 200 countries and regions to participate this great event in world sports arena as host country.However,the actual position of Chinese O lympic team in Athens Olympic Games,the gap with other sports superpowers and developing strategy of competitive sports in Beijing Olympic Games will become our concerned issue.Taking the achievements of Chinese Olympic team in Athens Olympic Games and reference of score distribution in the last four Olympic Games,and comparative analysis on strength of other sports power countries,this paper tries to point out the clear position on ranking of Chinese competitive sports in Olympic Games in order to make active preparation in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Abstract:Scientific research is the guarantee of winning outstanding results in competitive sports.Taking the diagnosis of the competitive status of the Chinese women's doubles players and the analysis of the technical and tactical characteristics of the main foreign rivals as the examples,the article elaborates on the scientific researches for the preparations of the Chinese Women's Tennis Team for the Olympics.Practice proves that scientific technical and tactical analysis and research may efficiently improve tennis scientific training level and have contributed to Chinese players' winning the bronze medal of women's doubles in the Olympic Games.

Abstract:With the documents and materials approach,the comparative analytic approach,the logic induction approach and the mathematical statistics approach,I have analyzed the behavior of Chinese athletes in Olympic Games,World Track and Field Championship and Asian Games in recent years.After Chinese athletes gaining two gold medals in the Athens Olympics,I find that the Chinese people better understand the track and field sports,meanwhile the athletics achievement is steadily raised and reaches the world standard,and some events make the outstanding achievement.I will research and analyze the key problems of preparing for the olympic Games in the following three years.Firstly,we are to keep the existing advantag eevents,and expand the integral level of the advantage events.Secondly,it is necessary to make female middle-distance race and female speed walking race aSwell aS in formerdays.Third,developing the technical track and field sports,which require the relatively complicated technique and are suitable for Chinese body characteristic,assure them to make a great breakthrough of achievement.We should take full advantage of our women'sevent extend the reservation,and effort to lengthen athletes'life-span of sport and achievement.Otherwise,the young athletes are to improve the competition experience joining the international tournament.It is hopeful to gain 4 or 5 golden medals in track and field events when the Olympic Games is opening in Bei jing in 2008.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with making a forecast of the number of gold medals that China will win as host nation at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Historical data reveal that China's achievement in the Olympic Games has shown considerable improvement by all commonly used performance measures. However, China's success is heavily dependent upon four key sports and the performance of its women athletes who significantly outperform their male counterparts. A review of previous research reveals that reliance on population and gross domestic product as predictors of Olympic success underestimated the performance in Athens 2004 of some nations taking a strategic approach to elite sport development. For these nations, regressing gold medals won over time produced more accurate predictions of actual gold medals won in 2004 than a multivariate regression based on macro-economic variables. Based on our analysis, we forecast that China will win 46 gold medals in Beijing 2008. In making our forecast, we sound a note of caution that in some sports China has little room for improvement and in others with high number of medals available, notably athletics and swimming, there is no current evidence of China developing significant gold medal winning capability. However, China's ambitions are underpinned by strong central government support, the extensive use of performance management principles, and seemingly little concern for the issue of value for money. Under these conditions, China's approach to developing medal winning capability suggests that the strategies of priority and diversity are not mutually exclusive. For nations which have stated ambitions about the level of success they wish to achieve in the future, the principles raised in this case study of China are equally applicable.

Abstract:This study conducts a content analysis on Chinese Central Television’s broadcasting of figure skating, short track speed skating, and freestyle skiing—the three most popular winter sports in the People’s Republic of China—at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics from the perspective of biological sex. A full examination of 100% (over 37 h) of Chinese Central Television’s broadcast coverage was analyzed in terms of clock-time, name-mentions, and descriptors. In each sport examined, female athletes received less clock-time and fewer name-mentions compared to their male counterparts. However, in the analysis of 7765 descriptors, relatively few significant differences between depictions of male and female athletes were uncovered, potentially explained by the Communist legacy of erasing women’s feminine characteristics and the relatively equal number of male and female commentators in Chinese Central Television’s sports newsrooms. Also, compared to many Western countries, male figure skaters in the People’s Republic of China received more clock-time and name-mentions, possibly attributed to cultural differences in defining ideal masculinity across East Asia and the West.

Not only have they made remarkable progress from virtual obscurity to world champions and record breakers, they have far surpassed the performance of their male compatriots in international sport. This unique phenomenon extends from middle and long–distance running to swimming and diving, from weightlifting and chess to volleyball and basketball, from shooting and archery to wrestling and rowing, from badminton and gymnastics to softball and soccer – and table tennis dating back to the early 1970s.

Abstract:Abstract The overseas network communication capacity of Chinese athletes at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games is an important reflection of the international influence of China’s winter sports and is of great significance. This paper uses three dimensions, presence, evaluation, and recognition, to obtain information about Chinese athletes who won medals during the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games on six platforms: Google, Wikipedia, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for international overseas communication capacity analysis. It turns out that the overseas communication capacity of Chinese athletes at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games is positively correlated with the athletes’ achievements. The better the athlete performs, the higher their overseas communication capacity index ranks. Moreover, the higher rank and more medals the athlete won, the higher his or her communication capacity index ranks. The overseas communication capacity index of athlete Eileen Gu is far ahead of others, indicating a significant head effect; there are differences between the communication capacity indices of Chinese athletes on different platforms, especially on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram; meanwhile, the communication capacities of Chinese athletes on Twitter are generally weak. The construction of the overseas communication capacity of Chinese athletes at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games still needs to be strengthened.

Abstract:Adopting literature study and comparative research,this paper analyzes the reasons,objective,achievements and problems of the issuing of the Chinese Olympic Gold Medal Winning Program.The historical achievements of this program are mainly manifested in the performances of the players at the Olympic Games,the improvement of the Chinese athletic sports events,the investment of more social benefits into the athletic sports development,and the better recognition of the Chinese people of the national spirit.Problems in executing this program show that the Olympic strategy has become Olympic gold meal strategy,so that athletic sports are just for winning gold medals.Consequently,the athletic sports are in lack of reasonable mechanism.Therefore,it is necessary to insist on the socialized development of sports and let the sports clubs work for the national teams.

Abstract:s: The Chinese women's volleyball team, under the leadership of Lang Ping, successfully won the Rio Olympics and renewed the glorious history of the Chinese women's volleyball team. The report analyses the Chinese women's national volleyball team through VMOST and PESTLE. In the analysis of the internal and external factors of the Chinese women's volleyball team, it is concluded that the reason for the outstanding achievements of the Chinese women's volleyball team is the adoption of an internal framework with the primary goal of achieving the championship, the promotion of the women's volleyball spirit as the central vision and the adoption of the "Magnifying national team" as the primary strategy. External influences such as national policy and financial support, as well as social support, have contributed to its success.

Abstract:This article offers a timely, critical analysis of the male gaze upon sportswomen in male Chinese fans' consumption of sporting megaevents. We use the most popular Chinese-language sports fandom platform, Hupu, as the data repository and scrutinise the threads of male Hupu users' postings about two elite sportswomen at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as the case studies. Drawing on feminist critical discourse analysis (FCDA), we elucidate the discursive strategies that male Chinese fans adopt to sexualise sportswomen and trivialise their accomplishments. The research findings showcase how China's sports fandom has evolved as a masculine terrain, where men's visions of asymmetrical gender power relations are discursively negotiated and rationalised.
