Abstract:To enhance flexibility of embed system,USB floppy driver is developed under WinCE.NET,based on the structure of stream interface driver,the characteristics of load mechanism of stream interface driver,UFI technology is used to control USB floppy,USB floppy format method and detailed process are presented finally.The driver has been successfully applied in the regional water monitoring and measuring instrument based on ARM9,and it extended the functionality of the instrument,a good reference value is provided for similar device.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of the currently popular embedded operating system WinCE.NET,that is not fully supporting USB floppy driver,an implementing strategy for USB floppy based on WinCE.NET is put forward.By adopting stream interface driver model,the USB floppy driving program is developed;The control of USB floppy is implemented with UFI technology.The method and whole procedures for formatting USB floppy are given;the program has been applied successfully in ARM9-based multi-functional computerized embroidery machine.The program is simple and easy to use;it is good reference for developing driving program for similar USB devices.

Abstract:With the development of society, embedded products have been applied in all walks of life. According to the investigation of most embedded Windows CE data acquisition system, data transmission and storage management are not very good. In this paper we show how the USB interface and SQLite can be used to solve these problems. Using USB bus for data transfer, we can realize HID devices loaded dynamically and avoid writing redundant complicated USB drive. Using embedded database SQLite for data storage, the storage structure is more clear and easier to be managed. But Nandflash is limited to the number of reading and writing, so we put forward "two levels storage" concept of data storage structure based on the WinCE file system. Practice has shown that the USB and SQLite technology can be better to solve the data transfer and storage management issues.

Abstract:In embedded system,especially with low system resources,good driver structural design can effectively reduce memory and CPU occupation,hence improve the system’s performance.V4L2 is a new framework for video device driver development under Linux,and a in-depth study on the running mechanism of V4L2 is given.By making full use of its properties,a V4L2 driver develop method is presented for video device based on reducing system resource consumption and promoting driver’s behavior,and its validity is proven by experiment.

Abstract:The methods to design WDM driver programs of PCI devices using Microsoft DDK and Compuware DriverWorks are intro-duced,and an example,the design of driver program for digital film image decoding board according with DCI(digital cinema initiatives,LLC) specification,are given.The following aspects of driver program design are discussed including the structure of WDM driver programs for PCI devices,the different handling methods for different kinds of I/O requests,the processing procedure of DMA in driver program and the synchronization of DMA threads,the main points to port driver programs from single-CPU system to multi-CPU system.The experimental results shows that the driver program can control the circuit board to decode in real time the DCI specified film image sequences whose maximum data rate reaches the upper limit(250 M Bits/sec) suggested by DCI specification.

Abstract:For the problems that MPlayer encountered when decoding high definition videos on the embedded platform of Intel’s CE3100.A new dual-core player is designed according to the features of CE3100.The dual-core player included one soft core player based on software decoder and one hard core player based on hardware decoder.Then,a main control center is introduced in the front of the player.The control center is responsible for analyzing and getting attributes of various types of media files,and determining to start soft core player or hard core player according to these attributes,including codec,bit rate,resolution and so on.At the same time,the implementation of the player is introduced in details.Eventually,it show the performance and advantages of the player by comparative experiment.

Abstract:To meet embedded multimedia applications, a media-enhanced and reconfigurable RISC microprocessor is designed. Media-enhanced extension, pipeline controlling strategy, bypassing unit and exception handling are studied. By parameterized and module design, the microprocessor can be configured easily. The RISC core is simulated in Xilinx X2CV3000 FPGA successfully and an MPEG-4 AAC decoder based on the microprocessor has been implemented. The result shows that the core can be conveniently integrated into SoC.

Abstract:A design and implementation method of CAN communication interface for Air-jet loom controller based on Win CE was presented in the article. Firstly, the hardware circus of CAN communication interface was designed. Secondly, the working principle and the development environment of interface driver were introduced, the development process of the stream interface driver based on Win CE was discussed in detail. Finally, the application program of CAN communication was developed to test the communication effect. The test results showed that the CAN communication interface based on Win CE could achieve real-time communication.
