China's Urbanization: Argument and Thinking

Abstract:The new type urbanization is relative to the past pattern focus on the urban spatial extension in our country,stresses on the urbanization of rural population transfer.Both relative to our country's economic growth speed and industrialization process,also compared with the developed countries or the surrounding countries and regions,our country's urbanization is seriously lagged.In view of the national conditions of relatively scarce land resources,highlight contradiction between human and land,China's urbanization should take the pattern of the urban agglomeration taking the extra large and super cities as the center,give full play to the role of market mechanism under the government's guidance,allow farmers autonomously promoting the urbanization process,replace the ownership discrimination with the land usage planning and usage control,and set up the system of protecting the basic farmland,and the land mechanism of increasing income and reducing expenditure and speed up the population urbanization mechanism.
