Abstract:Let A be the path algebra of a Euclidean quiver over a finite field k. The aim of this paper is to classify the modules M with the property [M] is an element of C (A), where C (A) is Ringel's composition algebra. Namely, the main result says that if \k\ not equal 2; 3, then [M] is an element of C (A) if and only if the regular direct summand of M is a direct sum of modules from non-homogeneous tubes with quasi-dimension vectors non-sincere. The main methods are representation theory of affine quivers, the structure of triangular decompositions of tame composition algebras, and the invariant subspaces of skew derivations. As an application, we see that C (A) = H (A) if and only if the quiver of A is of Dynkin type.

Abstract:Let A = k A be the path algebra of an affine quiver A over a finite field k, with minimal imaginary root n, and C(A) the corresponding composition algebra. By the work of C. Ringel and J. Green, C(A) relates the representation theory of A with the. quantum groups. It has been proved in [11] that C(A) has a triangular decomposition corresponding to the division of the indecomposables into the preprojectives, the regulars, and the preinjectives. However, the proof there needs the assumption that there exists a homogeneous quasi-simple with dimension vector n, and hence it fails for |k| = 2 and of type Dn and Em (m = 6,7,8). The aim of this paper is to give a new proof of this result in which the assumption can be dropped. In this way, a triangular decomposition of C(A) independent of k are obtained.
Constructions of Indecomposable Representations of Algebras Via Reflection Functors

Abstract:The main aim of this paper is to reform the Bernstein-Gelfand-Ponomarev theory in order to characterize representations of some (non-basic) artinian algebras. All non-isomorphic indecomposable projective and injective representations are constructed via Coxeter functors for a generalized path algebra of acyclic quiver and then for an artinian hereditary algebra of Gabriel-type with an admissible ideal. The methods given via natural quivers and reformed modulations are helpful for one to study some properties which are not Morita-invariant in representation theory.

Abstract:We develop a framework for common commensurators of discrete subgroups of lattices in isometry groups of CAT(0) spaces. We show that the Greenberg-Shalom hypothesis about discreteness of common commensurators of Zariski dense subgroups and lattices fails in this generality, even if one imposes strong finiteness conditions. We analyze some examples due to Burger and Mozes in this context and show that they have discrete common commensurator.

Abstract:Abstract We investigate the (separated) monomorphism category of a quiver over an Artin algebra . We show that there exists an epivalence (called representation equivalence in the terminology of Auslander) from to , where is the category of finitely generated ‐modules and and denote the respective injectively stable categories. Furthermore, if has at least one arrow, then we show that this is an equivalence if and only if is hereditary. In general, the epivalence induces a bijection between indecomposable objects in and noninjective indecomposable objects in , and we show that the generalized Mimo‐construction, an explicit minimal right approximation into , gives an inverse to this bijection. We apply these results to describe the indecomposables in the monomorphism category of radical square zero Nakayama algebras, and to give a bijection between the indecomposables in the monomorphism category of two artinian uniserial rings of Loewy length 3 with the same residue field. The main tool to prove these results is the language of a free monad of an exact endofunctor on an arbitrary abelian category. This allows us to avoid the technical combinatorics arising from quiver representations. The setup also specializes to more general settings, such as representations of modulations. In particular, we obtain new results on the singularity category of the algebras that were introduced by Geiss, Leclerc, and Schröer in order to extend their results relating cluster algebras and Lusztig's semicanonical basis to symmetrizable Cartan matrices. We also recover results on the algebras that were introduced by Lu and Wang to realize groups via semiderived Hall algebras.

Abstract:We give the relationship between indecomposable modules over the finite dimensional $ k $-algebra $ A $ and the smash product $ A\sharp G $ respectively, where $ G $ is a finite abelian group satisfying $ G\subseteq Aut(A) $, and $ k $ is an algebraically closed field with the characteristic not dividing the order of $ G $. More precisely, we construct all indecomposable $ A\sharp G $-modules from indecomposable $ A $-modules and prove that an $ A\sharp G $-module is indecomposable if and only if it is an indecomposable $ G $-stable module over $ A $. Besides, we give the relationship between simple, projective and injective modules in $ modA $ and those in $ modA\sharp G $.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce and study a class of algebras which we call ada algebras. An artin algebra is ada if every indecomposable projective and every indecomposable injective module lies in the union of the left and the right parts of the module category. We describe the Auslander-Reiten components of an ada algebra, showing in particular that its representation theory is entirely contained in that of its left and right supports, which are both tilted algebras. Also, we prove that an ada algebra over an algebraically closed field is simply connected if and only if its first Hochschild cohomology group vanishes.

Abstract:We study the problem of indecomposability of translations of simple modules in the principal block of BGG category $\mathcal{O}$ for $\mathfrak{sl}_n$, as conjectured in \cite{KiM}. We describe some general techniques and prove a few general results which may be applied to study various special cases of this problem. We apply our results to verify indecomposability for $n\leq 6$. We also study the problem of indecomposability of shufflings and twistings of simple modules and obtain some partial results.

Abstract:Let A be a quasi{hereditary algebra, and F(() the good module category consisting of A{modules which have a ltration by standard modules. An indecomposable module M in F(() is said to be on a short cycle in F(() if there exists an indecomposable module N in F(() and a chain of two nonzero noninvert-ible maps M ! N ! M. It is shown that two indecomposable modules in F(() are isomorphic if they are not on short cycles in F(() and have the same composition factors. Moreover, if there is no short cycle in F((), we show that F(() is nite, that is, there are only nitely many isomorphism classes of indecomposables in F((). This is an analogue to a result in a complete module category proved by Happel and Liu.

Abstract:We study module like objects over categorical quotients of algebras by the action of coalgebras with several objects. These take the form of ``entwined comodules'' and ``entwined contramodules'' over a triple $(\mathscr C,A,\psi)$, where $A$ is an algebra, $\mathscr C$ is a coalgebra with several objects and $\psi$ is a collection of maps that ``entwines'' $\mathscr C$ with $A$. Our objective is to prove Frobenius, separability and Maschke type theorems for functors between categories of entwined comodules and entwined contramodules.

Abstract:This paper presents a geometric model of the Auslander–Reiten quiver of a type A quiver together with a stability function for which all indecomposable modules are stable. We also introduce a new Catalan object which we call a maximal almost rigid representation. We show that its endomorphism algebra is a tilted algebra of type A. We define a partial order on the set of maximal almost rigid representations and use our new geometric model to show that this partial order is a Cambrian lattice.

Abstract:Let k be a perfect field and A a finite dimensional k-algebra of finite global dimension (e.g. the path algebra of a finite quiver without oriented cycles). Making use of the recent theory of noncommutative motives, we prove that the value of every additive invariant at A only depends on the number of simple modules. Examples of additive invariants include algebraic K-theory, cyclic homology (and all its variants), topological Hochschild homology, etc. Along the way we establish two results of general interest. The first one concerns the compatibility between bilinear pairings and Galois actions on the Grothendieck group of every proper dg category. The second one is a transfer result in the setting of noncommutative motives.

Abstract:Let $A$ be a hereditary algebra over an algebraically closed field $k$ and $A^{(m)}$ be the $m$-replicated algebra of $A$. Given an $A^{(m)}$-module $T$, we denote by $\delta (T)$ the number of non isomorphic indecomposable summands of $T$. In this paper, we prove that a partial tilting $A^{(m)}$-module $T$ is a tilting $A^{(m)}$-module if and only if $\delta (T)=\delta (A^{(m)})$, and that every partial tilting $A^{(m)}$-module has complements. As an application, we deduce that the tilting quiver $\mathscr{K}_{A^{(m)}}$ of $A^{(m)}$ is connected. Moreover, we investigate the number of complements to almost tilting modules over duplicated algebras.

Abstract:We prove a functoriality result for the full C*-algebras of right-LCM monoids with respect to monoid inclusions that are closed under factorization and preserve orthogonality, and use this to show that if a right-LCM monoid is amenable in the sense of Nica, then so are its submonoids. As applications, we complete the classification of Artin monoids with respect to Nica amenability by showing that only the right-angled ones are amenable in the sense of Nica and we show that the Nica amenability of a graph product of right-LCM semigroups is inherited by the factors.
