Abstract:Since the national independence,India has confronted with serious challenges of unbalanced development in compulsory education resulted from the unequal social system.Insisting on the idea of social justice and educational equity and the principle of affirmative action,the government of India takes a series of measures in the aspect of school infrastructures,teacher training and student support to ensure the equal opportunity in education and to promote the balanced development of compulsory education among various regions,groups and schools.India's practice and experience might provide some useful references and solutions for the broader developing countries.

The basic reason to widen the polarization of the rich and the poor is that the basic public service is not equal in urban and rural areas. Abstract:To solve various contradictions and problems in rural development and agricultural progress and to increase farmers' income, emphasis should be put on the improvement of farmers' competence. The educational authorities in Jiang shan City of Zhejiang Province has brought into full play the role of the literacy and technical schools in rural areas for offering education to farmers. It is the valuable experience of the rural adult education in Jiangshan City to break the traditional regulations and provide farmers with the innovative teaching contents to meet farmers' practical and urgent needs. Jiangshan City's successful experience should be popularized in other places for promoting the expansion of educational training in rural areas and display the role of educational training for increasing farmers' income.

Abstract:Lifelong education is a new form of education that has developed along with the evolution of an advanced productive society and on the basis of an extensively applied adult education practice.Lifelong education promotes the best practices of traditional education,yet avoids its many corrupt notions.Lifelong education allows communicability between all forms of education,ascertains the role and function of the different forms in their respective systems,and confers upon these forms a totally new and epochal significance.Based on the general research method of social science,this paper has studied historically the development of lifelong education practices and ideas,analyzed the social status and relationship between adult education and lifelong education,and proven that adult education has an important position in the lifelong education system.The conclusion,including views and suggestions put forward,has a high reference value for our country in establishing the format of adult education,in perfecting the system of lifelong education,and in building a learning society.

Abstract:China has achieved remarkable economic expansion and progress over the past few decades, but the long-standing huge urban-rural education gap remains a bottleneck for the development of education in China, greatly affecting the progress of society as a whole. The education gap between urban and rural areas in China can be seen in several ways, including resource allocation, teacher forces, and student achievement. This essay focuses on the education inequality between urban and rural areas in China caused by inadequate policy implementation and a lack of high-quality teachers in rural areas. In response to these problems, the essay argues that China needs to adopt a comprehensive and multi-pronged approach, with policy reforms and increasing the number of quality teachers in rural areas as the main areas of endeavor. The essay highlights the urgent need for China to consider educational equality and narrow the urban-rural education gap in the rapid development of the economy.

Abstract:In today's context of globalisation and rapid development of information technology, lifelong learning has become an important concept to cope with social change and technological innovation. The purpose of this paper is to explore how to construct an effective adult education system under the perspective of lifelong learning in order to improve individual quality and promote social progress. Firstly, this paper starts from the theoretical foundation of lifelong learning, explains its definition, characteristics and development history, and explores the far-reaching influence of Piaget's cognitive development theory, Bruner's discovery learning theory and Gagne's learning condition theory on adult education. By analysing the current situation of adult education, this paper reveals the major problems currently faced, including uneven distribution of educational resources, insufficient motivation for learning and a disconnect between curriculum and actual needs. In order to cope with these challenges, this paper proposes the principle of constructing a learner-centred education system, which emphasises the flexibility and adaptability of the education model. Specific implementation strategies include government policy support, promotion of diversified education models and comprehensive learner support services. This paper also demonstrates the experiences of Germany and South Korea in policy support, social synergy and education model innovation through successful case analyses at home and abroad, which provide useful reference for other countries and regions. Finally, the paper summarises the key points in building an adult education system and looks forward to future development trends, emphasising the impact of technological progress and globalisation on adult education. Overall, the theoretical framework and implementation strategies proposed in this paper provide a scientific basis and practical guidance for building an efficient, flexible and diversified adult education system. Through in-depth understanding and application of these theories and methods, the quality and coverage of adult education can be effectively enhanced, the widespread implementation of the concept of lifelong learning can be promoted, and the all-round development of individuals and the sustainable progress of society can be fostered.

Abstract:Since the 21st century, China has achieved some success in equity in urban-rural education, and the policies issued have effectively eased the economic pressure of families with special problems and enabled rural education to develop in a sustained and healthy way. In addition, some relevant auxiliary policies have been implemented, providing large amounts of resources for rural education, greatly improving the level of education and teaching and the enthusiasm of rural education. Based on this, this article analyzes the current situation and development trend of policies for balanced development of urban and rural education in eastern, central and western China from the perspective of educational equity. According to the current policies, the main reasons leading to the education gap in eastern, central and western China are discussed. It also clarifies the existing problems of relevant policies, and conducts research and analysis on the future development, aiming to effectively improve the school-running situation in poor and backward areas and to truly realize education for all citizens.

Abstract:In the past 55 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, China has achieved remarkable success in adult education. In comparison with the fairly mature and developed continuing education in Germany, China's adult education, while sharing some basic features, also shows important differences in management, educational operation, teaching materials, employment structure and fund raising.
