Abstract:The differences between the digital trunking system and the cellular system were introduced, The feasibility of the digital trunking system based on CDMA was discussed. A discussion of the implementation scheme for the digital trunking system based on CDMA was made. By adopting typical WCDMA link parameter a theoretical analysis for system margin was given. A calculation and the system margin curve were presented based on Okumura and Egli model.

Abstract:Science and Technology Informatization Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security released the new generation of police use digital trunking standard PDT in April 2010 in Beijing. Based on brief description of PDT and Tetra standards, this paper comparatively analyzes the specific performance indicators of two standard PDT and Tetra from the aspects of voice quality, voice services, data services, and so on. The analysis shows that advantages of PDT in terms of operational capacity is more obvious, and it is more in line with the development needs of Chinese police trunking communication system.

Abstract:There is a worldwide impact to the TV broadcasting and consumer electronics industries starting from the decision of the FCC, of which the transition period of SDTV to digital will be completed in the year of 2006. The digital television era seems to be arriving earlier than that has ever been expected. How to face the challenge of this new era is a serious concern of the industries at present. The VSB transmission system is accepted for terrestrial broadcasting of DTV in the US. As a counterpart, the COFDM system is accepted for DVB. It is natural of interested to investigate these two transmission schemes and compare the performance and the methods of implementation. Abstract:The channel encoding scheme for speech in digital trunking system is CRC+RCPC+Interleave, RCPC has a very strong ability to control errors, and the depth of decoding is also a main factor affect the system's performance. It specially emphases on analyzing rate-compatible punctured convolution code a- bout it's encoding process and characteristics. That is using the mobile terminal to access the system's user database in real time through wireless trunking system or conventional wireless communication system in existence. By adopting the high speed wireless digital transmission modem chip MX909,the system's transmission rate will reach 9.6 kb/s.

Abstract:This paper introduces two different handheld TV broadcasting technologies based on different networks: MMBS and CMMB. The analysis of the above mentioned standards and simulations of these systems show that CMMB is better than MBMS in terms of network structure, cell capacity, service bit rate and image quality; however, the interactive applications of MBMS outweigh those of CMMB.
