Abstract:The title compound, (1R,2R,3R,5S)-3-(3-chlorophenyl)-1-hydroxy-2-methyl-6-phenyl-8-oxa-6-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-7-one, was synthesized and characterized by H-1 and C-13 NMR and HRMS spectroscopy. Its absolute molecular configuration was investigated by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structure analysis revealed that the structure exhibits intermolecular hydrogen bonds of the type O-H horizontal ellipsis O. The methyl group and chlorophenyl group are located in the cis configuration. The conformation is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-H... O interactions.

Abstract:The title compound, [Co4(C4H4O5)4(C7H6N2)8]·20H2O, consists of tetranuclear CoII complexes and disordered uncoordinated water molecules. The tetrameric complex molecule has overline{4} symmetry. While two benzimidazole molecules and a tridentate malate dianion coordinate a CoII ion, the carboxylate O atom from an adjacent malate dianion bridges the CoII ions to complete a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The tridentate malate dianion chelates the CoII ion, and the chelate six- and five-membered rings show half-chair and envelope configurations, respectively. A face-to-face separation of 3.494 (9) Å between parallel benzimidazole ligands indicates the existence of π–π stacking between adjacent complexes. The crystal structure also involves N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds.

Abstract:The title compound, C24H32O8S center dot C3H6O, features three six-membered and two five-membered rings. The six-membered rings adopt chair, boat and slightly distorted boat conformations whereas one five-membered ring adopts an approximate envelope conformation and the other a twist conformation. Disorder was modelled for the ethylthio group with the ethyl-C atoms resolved over three positions with occupancies of 0.58 (4), 0.23 (4) and 0.19 (3). In the crystal, an O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond links the molecules into chains.

The molecular conformation is stabilized by an intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond. Abstract:The structure of the title complex, 6-ethenyldecahydro-5-hydroxy- 4,6,9,10-tetramethyl-1-oxo-3a, 9-propano-3aH-cyclopentacycloocten-8- yl[ 2-(diethylammonio) ethylsulfanyl] acetate (E)-3-carboxyprop-2-enoate methanol solvate, C28H48NO4S+.C4H3O4-.CH4O, is presented. The cation of the complex consists of an eight-membered ring with boat - chair conformation, a six-membered ring with a chair conformation and a five-membered ring with a twisted conformation. The fumarate anion adopts an E configuration. The methanol molecule is linked to the cation and the anion by O-H...O hydrogen bonds. A network of O-H...O, N-H...O and C-H...O intermolecular hydrogen bonds links the molecules, forming a layered structure.

Abstract:The title compound C(23)H(26)O(7), was prepared by esterification of 2-ethyl-7-hydroxy-8-methoxymethyl-4H-chromen-4-one with (S)-(-)-camphanic chloride.
