Abstract:Based on the principles of green chemistry,problem on how to bring about a green reform of inorganic chemistry experiment is discussed in this paper.Combined with the teaching experience.Combined with the teaching experience,some measures on greening of inorganic chemical experiment are put forward,such as optimizing experiment,improving experimental apparatus,carrying out mini-experiment,multi-media simulation teaching,recycling materials and so on.These methods are important to achieve a green revolution of inorganic chemical experiment.

Abstract:In China, the rapid development greatly greatly promotes the national economic power and living standard but also inevitably brings a series of environmental problems. In order to resolve these problems fundamentally, Chinese scientists have been undertaking research in the area of green chemical engineering (GCE) for many years and achieved great progresses. In this paper, we reviewed the research progresses related to GCE in China and screened four typical topics related to the Chinese and screened four typical topics related to the Chinese resources characteristics and environmental requirements, i.e. ionic liquids and their applications, biomass utilization and bio-based materials/products, green solvent-mediated extraction technologies, and cold plas-mas for coal conversion. Afterwards, the perspectives and development tendencies of GCE were proposed, and the challenges which will be faced while developing available industrial technologies in China were mentioned.

Abstract:The chemical laboratories have produced a lot of environmental pollutants in domestic universities and colleges.Establishing zero-polluting laboratory belonging to green chemistry is not only of necessity for chemists themselves,but also of responsibility for society and of effective steps for cultivating students in promoting environmental protection consciousness daily. Abstract:The demand for sustainable synthetic methods in modern industry has been increasing rapidly due to the requirements of environmental protection and energy conservation, which has brought organic electrochemical synthesis to the forefront nowadays. Here, a two-part laboratory experiment has been designed to train undergraduates in comprehending and learning related concepts and operations of organic electrochemistry. First, students are required to perform a traditional bromination reaction of bisphenol A (BPA). In the second part, students need to achieve bromination of BPA in electrochemical conditions. Since tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) is the common product of the two methods above, students are able to assess sustainability from multiple dimensions via 12 principles of Green Chemistry, which provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduates to focus on variables and sensitivities in experimental operations.

Abstract:Green chemistry as orientation,we have revised the textbook of experimental organic chemistry,designed microscale and green organic synthesis experiments,modified the basic separation and purification technologies,so that they can fit for requirements of micro-organic experiment.We have combined basic and teaching research with green chemistry closely,and carried out the micro,green and integrated organic chemistry experiment in our courses.Through the improvements of experimental technology and renewal of experimental contents,not only the students' basic skills and experimental criterion are trained to meet the needs of the project,but also their consciousness of modern green chemistry and scientific research are brought up.

Abstract:Environmental issues are increasingly of global concern. The trend of sustainable development requires chemistry to be "clean" or "green." In the 1990s, therefore, the concept of "Green Chemistry" was proposed, together with the "Twelve Principles of Green Chemistry." These twelve principles encompassed the premise of green chemistry but mainly focused on the aspects of synthetic chemistry. For green chemistry in the analytical laboratory, the concept of Green Analytical Chemistry was subsequently proposed, but it has not yet become a popular field of chemistry. Apparently, green analytical chemistry is a key part of green chemistry and an important trend in analytical chemistry in modern society. It is an emerging area of increasing importance both in green chemistry and in analytical chemistry. In this report, green analytical chemistry is systematically discussed and then defined with seven principles. Firstly, the aspects of green analytical chemistry are discussed in detail with regard to the whole analytical process; i.e., from sample collection, sample preparation, to sample analysis, and some other related issues such as process analysis. Secondly, some naturally green or possibly green analytical techniques are discussed. Presently, spectroscopic methods dominate the area of green analytical chemistry. The purpose of this report is to arouse more attention to green analytical chemistry to serve the sustainable development of the modern society.

Abstract:: Organic chemistry laboratory is a required course to cultivate students to master the basic lab skills and technology and improve their hands-on ability. Complex waste liquid was produced in the organic chemical laboratory. Although the environmental awareness of teachers and students is strong, laboratory waste liquid can be collected in the classification for processing by qualified companies. However, the cost is high, completely relying on environmental protection company processing. Then we try to treat the organic chemical laboratory waste liquid in the laboratory. The individual who produces waste must handle it. It can effectively reduce the treatment cost of waste liquid, and realize the recycling of organic reagents.

Abstract:Since the construction of national experimental teaching demonstration center project,the basic organic chemistry laboratory have added new equipments to meet the requirement of teaching and scientific research.
