Abstract:The management of mobile station is part of wireless communications.With this,Trunked radio is efficient in urgency.This paper analyzes the entity of Mobility Management(MM) in Terrestrial Trunked Radio(TRTRA) Voice plus Data(V+D) and programs in C code.The program files are enable to run in several operating systems,such as Windows and Linux.Further,the platform embedded for simulation is based on ARM946ES and the numerical results are given.

Abstract:IEC 61970 is one of the most important standards of the new-generation EMS/DTS system. This paper proposes the key technical issues in developing the EMS/DTS system based on IEC 61970. The methods for implementing the database platform, CIM model. EMS API and heterogeneous supporting system are discussed. First, a heterogeneous database platform composed of database and soft-bus is proposed. Then three types of database management modes are adopted in the background database to store, retrieve and process data, in which the architecture guarantees the openness and efficiency of the system. Then the soft-bus, based on the real-time CORBA middleware, supports the CIS standard in an all-round way. Secondly, a WYSWYG(What you see is what you get) method for power system modeling, firmly compliant with CIM, is presented. Furthermore, different strategies are applied to wrap the legacy EMS/DTS modules. It is shown by test results that this strategy is feasible.

Abstract:To program the call connection (CC) sublayer of UMTS protocol, a plan based on Window CE is proposed. The program, whose frame is composed by multi-thread and mutex,depends on the message queue for reading and sending the primitive and message with managing memory in a dynamic way. Function pointer array is also applied in realizing FSM.The practice proves that the design has the characteristics of programming efficiently with good real time ability.

Abstract:DMR is a digital trunking communication protocol proposed by ETSI which has predictable doubling of capacity in existing 12.5 kHz licensed channels and delivers backwards spectrum compatibility with legacy analog systems. The DMR system implemented in this paper is based on SDR (Software Defined Radio) structure, which components that have been implemented in hardware (e.g. filters, modulator/demodulator, synchronization, etc.) are implemented by means of software on a central processor. The system architecture and baseband process are emphasized. The system and modules in the system can be integrated as a wave component library to other communication system, meanwhile all functions, modes and applications can be configured, reconfigured and upgraded in the field with new capabilities by software. The SDR based DMR system implemented in this paper communicates well with commercial terminals which proves the accuracy of signaling processing and compatibility with existing terminals. The system holds great significance in multi-modes system research and digital trunking communication system substitute for current analog trunking system.

Abstract:The achievement that SMS (short message service) thrived in GSM leads to the extension to PSTN (public switched telephone network). A SOC of SMTE (short message terminal equipment) is designed based on MCS51 compatible 8 bit MCU core. Dedicated DTMF, FSK transmitter and receiver using 1 bit quantification are presented. By this means, this design saves analog to digital converter, improves design reusability remarkably and reduces power consumption.

Abstract:A digital walkie-talkie scheme using CP4FSK modulation based on ARM 9 and ADF 7021 processors is designed.Board support package is developed,consisting of boot loader,OEM adaption layer and peripheral hardware drivers.Windows Embedded CE operating system is transplanted.Bi-serial interface and related drivers between modulation system and embedded processor are developed.At last,the hardware system of the experiment platform is completed and tested.

Abstract:To ensure the smooth communication in emergencies,this article introduces the design of a software which adopts the module design idea,in combination with the 32 ARM7TDMI(-S)(Advanced RISC Machines),realizing the serial data exchange control between different frequency radio stations,the automatic data saving and retransmitting with the best transmission channel choice and the direct printout at the receiving end,thus to enhance the correspondence 5~6 times as efficient as before.

Abstract:An attracting and exciting idea in the current software development is the pattern, and it has become an important theory in the software architecture. As a general method supporting the reuse at the software architectural level, "traditional" patterns do not focus on the performance but the flexibility of the software architecture. In the resource-critical mobile and embedded environment, three more constraints must be considered: computation ability, storage ability and power supply ability. Mobile device specific network software must achieve the high efficiency, reliability and flexibility. This article first attempt to present a pattern language for the multi-protocol oriented network communication designed in the EMXE (Extensible Multi-functional XML Engineer)project, and then it shows the process applying the pattern language to generate an efficient, reliable and flexible architecture model for the network communication.
