Combined Evaluation Model of the Middle-level Managers' Competence and Its Empirical Study

Abstract:According to the lack of present research and the characteristic of competence evaluation,a new combined evaluation model was proposed to accurately measure the competence of middle-level managers.This new model was based on the Entropy,the AHP,the radar chart and the SVM.Firstly,in this model we used the entropy and AHP to determine the combined weight of each index;then,we adopted the radar chart to assemble to combined weight and the index value;finally,we set up the expert decision model on competence evaluation through the SVM.In order to prove the feasibility of this new model,an empirical research was operated on the middle-level managers in Nanjing GH group.The simulation results show that the method is feasible and effective for the promotion of similar problems with a certain value.
