Analysis on Volatile Oil from Alnus Nepalensis D.Don. by GC-MS

Abstract:Volatile oil was extracted from Alnus nepalensis D.Don.by steam distillation,and the its components were separated and structure was identified by capillary GC-MS method.We analyzed the structures of chemical compounds with database NIST2008 of Mass Spectrometry.The relative content of each component was calculated by area normalization.32 compounds were identified from Alnus nepalensis D.Don.The identification of chemical compounds which extracted by Water is helpful for finding out characteristic compounds from Alnus nepalensis.The methods can be applied in specialized isolation and identification of other samples.
