Abstract:The immune algorithm is an intelligentized heuristic algorithm that imitates the high-(evolvement) of the organism and the complicated immune system.The vehicle scheduling problem with fuzzy demands(VSPFD) is a variation of vehicle scheduling problem(VSP),which is a typical NP-hard problem. By means of a new coding method,and the adaptive mechanism of crossover and mutation,an improved immune algorithm(IIA) is proposed to solve the VSPFD.Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms for solving the problem of VSPFD.

Abstract:The vehicle dispatching problem (VDP) is researching how to arrange vehicles’ transportation, which has been addressed by many scholars. In the field of logistics transportation, the vehicle dispatching problem is presented in a special form, that is, the periodic vehicle dispatching problem (PVDP) with heterogeneous vehicles. In order to solve this problem and improve the efficiency of vehicles, a round recombination algorithm (RRA) with two operators are designed in this paper. And a hybrid algorithm consisting of RRA and simulated annealing algorithm is also proposed to improve RRA. Three groups of experiments are carried out to test the performance of designed algorithms in different scenarios. The results of these experiments prove the effectiveness of RRA. The results also show the superiority of hybrid algorithm to RRA.

Abstract:This paper presents a vehicle routing problem with soft time windows and builds a model of the problem based on natural description. Then, a immune algorithm is proposed to solve the problem, in which a new coding method of antibody, the improve manner of appetency computation, and evaluate function are introduced. The computational results demonstrate that the high quality solutions to the vehicle routing problem with soft time windows can be obtained by using the immune algorithm, and the new algorithm is also efficient and robust.

The paper describes the mathematics model of the vehicle routing problem and the overview of the immune algorithm, introduces a hybrid immune-genetic algorithm based on the affinity of the antibody; mends the crossover operator ; applys the hybrid immune-genetic algorithm to solve the vehicle scheduling problem with limited route length. Experiment result shows the hybrid immune-genetic algorithm can find the optimal or nearly optimal solution effectively compaied with the genetic algorithm.

Abstract:Background: Manufacturing companies optimize logistics network routing to reduce transportation costs and operational costs in order to make profits in an extremely competitive environment. Therefore, the efficiency of logistics management in the supply chain and the quick response to customers' demands are treated as an additional source of profit. One of the warehouse operations for intelligent logistics network design, called cross-docking (CD) operations, is used to reduce inventory levels and improve responsiveness to meet customers' requirements. Accordingly, the optimization of a vehicle dispatch schedule is imperative in order to produce a routing plan with the minimum transport cost while meeting demand allocation. Methods: This paper developed a two-phase algorithm, called sAIS, to solve the vehicle routing problem (VRP) with the CD facilities and systems in the logistics operations. The sAIS algorithm is based on a clustering-first and routing-later approach. The sweep method is used to cluster trucks as the initial solution for the second phase: optimizing routing by the Artificial Immune System. Results: In order to examine the performance of the proposed sAIS approach, we compared the proposed model with the Genetic Algorithm (GA) on the VRP with pickup and delivery benchmark problems, showing average improvements of 7.26%. Conclusions: In this study, we proposed a novel sAIS algorithm for solving VRP with CD problems by simulating human body immune reactions. The experimental results showed that the proposed sAIS algorithm is robustly competitive with the GA on the criterion of average solution quality as measured by the two-sample t-test.

Abstract:When the distributed inventory system is considered, which consists of several warehouses based on the coordinating center, the coordinating center plays the role of the management of joint inventory. After the customers' order lists are sent to the coordinating center, it designates specific warehouse to supply goods for the customers according to the delivery place, delivery time, the demanded quantity and inventory situation of each warehouse. When the overall inventory is lower than overall order, the center will make a joint order to the supplier for each warehouse. In order to satisfy the different random distribution of supply and demand side, in the case of limited capital, inventory capacity and supply capacity, and variable costs, for specific customers' satisfaction rate, we propose a practical algorithm to determine the inventory order strategy of each warehouse in order to minimize the total inventory costs by using an immune genetic algorithm.

Abstract:An intelligent method is proposed to the integrated vehicle scheduling problem(VSP). The method is based on the delivery route with natural number. Because of the difference between delivery distance and time window limits, this method combines the penalty function and the properties of the limits to control the distribution of depot and uses a coefficient to coordinate them. An improved tabu search algorithm(TS) is designed to realize the integrated VSP with delivery distance and time window limits. The results of a representative example and the analysis are given. The experiment indicates the validity of the technique to the integrated VSP with the above-mentioned conditions.

Abstract:In logistic transport industry, individual demands and diversity requirements are matters in transport operation; this paper focused on solving vehicle routing problem (VRP) by using the immune genetic algorithm (IGA). In this algorithm, firstly, establish the mathematical model of VRP. Secondly, design the IGA of which use natural number coding method to encode antibodies; apply R continuous method to calculate the affinity between antibodies; use the roulette wheel selection method to select good individuals; adopt partial matching method to improve the crossover operation; use simple inversion mutation method for mutation operation. Finally, example analysis proves that using the IGA can find out the optimal path quickly and efficiently.

Abstract:Bus scheduling is a key issue for bus operators. This paper presents an optimization algorithm for bus scheduling, based on the bus IC data of Dalian bus IC data management center. By introducing an artificial immune algorithm based on information entropy, the optimal or the quasi-optimal solution to this multi-variable and non-linear problem can be found effectively. Abstract:In today’s rapid economic development, whether the factors of production can be reasonably allocated directly affects the utilization rate of resources. By further affecting the economic benefits, the importance of the logistics system in economic development can be clearly seen. However, with the deepening of economic development and the advantages of efficient and fast logistics, the proportion of production costs is increasing. The optimization of logistics scheduling problems is also on the agenda, but traditional scheduling optimization methods are not suitable for large scale complex problems, and interdisciplinary research provides new ideas for solving such problems. And by imitating the biological immune mechanism, the immune optimization algorithm has shown excellent performance in the research and application of each neighborhood. On this basis, this paper proposes an immune genetic algorithm to optimize the logistics scheduling problem, but the basic immune genetic algorithm has the problems of low local search ability and too fast algorithm speed. Based on the idea of clonal selection in biological immune system, a clonal immune genetic algorithm is proposed in this paper. Through simulation experiments on instances of different scales, the improved immune crown algorithm proposed in this paper can obtain the optimal solution of the problem within the same number of iterations, with an average solution probability of 30%. The quality and convergence speed are also significantly improved compared to the first two.

Abstract:The Job-Shop Scheduling Problem is simplified from the shop production though it is NP-hard, and the actual Scheduling is more complicated than it. The complex flexible manufacturing cell dynamic scheduling (FMCDS) which takes much disturb into account is researched in. The machine may suddenly turn into malfunction during production, and the jobs may go into or be canceled from scheduling for some reason. Each kind of part can be disintegrated into a lot of batch which includes some parts, and batch operation can choice one from some machines. Furthermore, several objects are optimized, which include time, cost and machine use rate. The FMCDS model is set up, and a dynamic evaluation based immune algorithm and rolling-disturb hybrid rescheduling policy are initially brought forward to solve FMCDS. The proposed algorithm, policy and method are applied to Xi'an Aviation Manufacture Corporation, and can fulfill its FMCDS.

Abstract:The load balancing task allocation problem of collaborative workshops under the condition of flexible process constraints is described. Load-balancing-oriented task combinatorial optimization allocation model is established considering the task collaboration. A task combinatorial optimization allocation algorithm is proposed based on the immune algorithm for solving the problem. The concept of dynamic task resource map matrix is introduced. Obtaining and updating vaccine operation, product new antibody operation and mutation operation are designed according to the task resource map matrix, to improve the speed of finding the optimization solution. The expectation reproductive rate is adopted as the evaluation criteria of antibody in order to prevent non-optimal antibody to have a large scale in the population, and the problem on easy appeared the prematurity can be avoided when these immune operations take effect. In addition, the experimental results indicate that the algorithm solves the task allocation problem of realistic enterprises in terms of collaboration cost and load imbalance and possesses great validity and good prospects of application.

Abstract:First, a multi-objective immune genetic algorithm integrating immune algorithm and genetic algorithm for flexible job shop scheduling is designed. Second, Markov chain is used to analyze quantitatively its convergence. Third, a simulation experiment of the flexible job shop scheduling is carried out. Running results show that the proposed algorithm can converge to the Pareto frontier quickly and distribute evenly along the Pareto frontier.

Abstract:During the iterative process of standard particle swarm optimization (PSO), the premature convergence of particles decreases the algorithm's searching ability. Through analyzing the reason of particle premature convergence during the renewal process, by introducing the selection strategy based on antibody density, an immunity based PSO model was proposed, and its application to job-shop scheduling problem (JSP) was given. The selection strategy based on antibody density makes the particles of immune particle swarm optimization (IPSO) maintain the diversity during the iterative process, thus overcome the defect of premature convergence. Simulation for 43 benchmark problem of JSP indicates that compared with the exiting algorithms, IPSO gets better result within shorter period, thus certify the improvement of the algorithm's searching ability by immunity mechanism. The Gantt chart of scheduling result of LA36 problem was finally given.

Abstract:In this paper,a Tabu search(TS) algorithm for vehicle scheduling problem(VSP) with time windows is presented.This algorithm uses many primitive solutions and full-scale tabu table to decrease the solution instability and expand searching area.Based on the difference between weight limit and time windows limit,this paper combines penalty function and the properties of the limits to control the distribution of depot.In the study,two groups of representational examination data are proposed.Compared with the results attained by some other algorithms,this TS algorithm is a better way to solve Vehicle Scheduling Problem with time windows.

Abstract:To enhance the efficiency of artificial immune algorithms for Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP),we designed a dynamic vaccination strategy.The proposed vaccination obtains both single-vaccines and multi-vaccines by applying a linear complex intersecting operation on a random subset of the memory cell.The lengths of vaccines increase with iteration, which depresses the problem size and algorithm's searching space.Compared with other vaccination strategies,the proposed strategy is unsupervised,which makes more accurate prediction of edges in the best tour and helps immune algorithms to maintain better solution paths.

Abstract:We will put forward the integrated problem of vehicle scheduling and vehicle filling in a logistics system and design an integrated algorithm to solve it in this paper. The integrated algorithm basically consists of a genetic algorithm section for a vehicle routing problem and a heuristic algorithm section for a vehicle filling problem. At the same time, these two algorithm sections are related to each other, solving the integrated problem together. To verify the effectiveness and practicability of the algorithm, corresponding computer programs are designed to solve the practical problem. The programs can quickly gain correct and very satisfying results.
