Abstract:This technology achieves high concentration SO2 recovery and heavy metal coordination control of nonferrous furnaces flue gas. Flue gas of lead and zinc metallurgy is the main object for the technology. For the flue gas characteristic, high SO2 concentration, large gas fluctuation and containing multiple heavy metals, the technology includes various methods. In the technique, metallurgy flue gas needs to be pre-processed, and then be absorbed efficiently by multifunctional liquid. With the methods, SO2 and heavy metals (Hg, Pb, As, Ca) can be removed simultaneously, and the sulfur products and heavy metals can be recycled. The achieved sulfur by-product is ammonium sulfate. Thus provide a feasible approach to pollution controlling for nonferrous metallurgy flue gas. The demonstrations project of high concentration SO2 recovery and heavy metal coordination control of nonferrous furnaces flue gas will be established in Zhuzhou Smelter Group. The scale of the project is fit to metallurgy flue gas from the production line of 1 t zinc annually. The technology has the following advantages: (1) SO2 and heavy metals (Hg, Pb, As, Ca) can be removed simultaneously and efficiently and flue gas can reach emission standard. The desulfurization rate reaches above 95%, and SO2 content of outlet gas below 400 mg/m3.The removal rate of Hg, Pb, As,Ca reaches above 90% stably. The contents of them in the outlet gas are below 0.012 mg/m3,0.7mg/m3,0.5mg/m3 and 0.5mg/m3respectively. The sulfur by-product is up the standard of By-products Ammonium Sulfate Standard (DL/T808-2002). The recovery rate of Hg reaches above 80%, the resource utilization rates of Pb reaches above 65%. (2) Heavy metals in the metallurgy flue gas can be recycled and resource utilization of metal sulfide can be realized. (3) Mercuric chloride is recycling when it is used to remove Hg and the absorbed mercury is calomel production, which see both the mercury treatment and recycle. (4) By-products ammonium sulfate making from flue gas achieves high desulfurization rate and low operating cost. Comparing with other surfer product, ammonium sulfate has advantages such as wide application, easy to store and transportation. Except synergistic purification, economic benefit is also achieved. Therefore this technology is key technology for purification and utilization of metallurgy flue gas. It shows a bright future in nonferrous metallurgy industry application.
