Abstract:We discuss the discovery potential for New Physics of various measurements of CP violation. If nature is supersymmetric, then the flavor problem is even more mysterious than in the standard model. We show how we can learn about the mechanism that solves the supersymmetric flavor problem from measurements of mixing and CP violation in $K$, $D$ and $B$ decays. Abstract:Supersymmetric models with nonuniversal down type squark masses can enrich the chiral structure and CP violating phenomena in $b\to s\gamma$ decays. Direct CP violation in $b\to s \gamma$, mixing induced CP violation in radiative $B_{d,s}$ decays (such as $B_s\to \phi \gamma$ and $B_d \to K^*_{1,2}\gamma$), and $\Lambda$ polarization in $\Lambda_b \to \Lambda \gamma$ can be substantially different from the Standard Model. Future experiements at $e^+ e^-$ and hadronic B factories will give important information on the underlying theory for radiative $b$ decays.

Abstract:CP asymmetries of B -> phi K and B -> eta((1))K modes are analyzed in the QCD improved factorization framework. The phenomenological parameters are determined from the global fit for the available B PP and VP modes (without the subprocess b -> s (s) over bars). The possible deviation of sin(2 phi(1))phi K-0,eta'K-s from sin(2 phi(1))J/Psi K-s and the large branching ratio for B+/--> eta(1)K(+/-) can be simultaneously explained in the context of R-parity conserving SUGRA models and R-parity violating SUSY models.

The fixed-target experiments achieved the relevant measurements of the hyperon parameters but in the absence of the antihyperon results. The BESIII experiment with e(+)e(-) collision provided an entanglement environment to measure Sigma(+) and &Sigma(-) simultaneously. The important role of experimental inputs in CP violation evaluation is discussed in this paper, underlying the great potential of the future collider, which may allow us to reach the precision of the Standard Model predictions.

Abstract:Hyperon nonleptonic decays that change strangeness by two units, such as Ξ→Nπ and Ω−→nK−,Λπ−,Σ(*)π , are highly suppressed in the standard model. Only a few of them have been searched for to date, leading to experimental upper bounds that are many orders of magnitude above the expectations of the standard model. This leaves ample opportunity to look for indications of new physics in these processes. At the same time, most, but not all, ΔS=2 interactions beyond the standard model are severely constrained by kaon-mixing data. We present two scenarios where new physics satisfying the kaon-mixing constraints can enhance the hyperon decay rates to levels that can be probed in future searches by BESIII and LHCb and at the proposed Super Tau-Charm Factory. Abstract:Recently BABAR and Belle Collaborations have measured direct CP asymmetry A(CP) = -0.114 +/- 0.020 in (B) over bar (0) -> K- pi(+). The experimental value is substantially different from the QCD factorization prediction. We show that supersymmetry flavor changing neutral current interaction via gluonic dipole can explain the difference. CP asymmetries in other B -> K pi decays are predicted to be sizable. Taking this asymmetry as a constraint, we find that the allowed supersymmetry parameter space is considerably reduced compared with constraint from B -> X-s gamma alone. We also find the allowed time-dependent CP asymmetries S-f in (B) over bar (0) -> (K) over bar (0)gamma -> pi K-0(S)gamma and (B) over bar (0) -> phi K-S to be large. These predictions are quite different than those predicted in the standard model and can be tested in the near future.

Abstract:In this presentation, we discuss recent key topics in theoretical analyses of CP violation in benchmarks decays of the $B$ meson. We provide the most updated values of the mixing phases and discuss the importance of including the penguin contributions in their studies. Exploring intriguing patterns in purely tree decays, interesting new methodologies can be developed and applied. New data related to the CP asymmetries of key modes like $B^0_d \to \pi^0 K_S$ and $B^0_s \to K^+ K^-$ lead to interesting results. The new $R_{K^{(*)}}$ measurement, compatible with the Standard Model, can still allow for electron-muon symmetry violation through new sources of CP violation.

Abstract:The quantities $\epsilon_K^\prime$ and $\epsilon_K$ measure the amount of direct and indirect CP violation in $K\to \pi\pi$ decays, respectively. Using the recent lattice results from the RBC and UKQCD Collaborations and a new compact implementation of the $\Delta S=1$ renormalization group evolution we predict $ \mbox{Re}\, \frac{\epsilon_{K}'}{\epsilon_{K}} = \left(1.06 \pm 5.07 \right) \times 10^{-4}$ in the Standard Model. This value is $2.8\,\sigma$ below the experimental value of $ \mbox{Re}\, \frac{\epsilon_{K}'}{\epsilon_{K}} = \left(16.6 \pm 2.3 \right) \times 10^{-4}.$ In generic models of new physics the well-understood $\epsilon_K$ precludes large contributions to $\epsilon_K^\prime$, if the new contributions enter at loop level. However, one can resolve the tension in $\epsilon_{K}'/\epsilon_{K}$ within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. To this end two features of supersymmetry are crucial: First, one can have large isospin-breaking contributions (involving the strong instead of the weak interaction) which enhance $\epsilon_K^\prime$. Second, the Majorana nature of gluinos permits a suppression of the MSSM contribution to $\epsilon_K$, because two box diagrams interfere destructively.

Abstract:Experimental data on rare $B$-meson decays indicate deviations from Standard Model predictions. In studies of these decays, possible new sources of CP violation are often neglected. We discuss CP violation in the rare $B$-meson decays $B\to K\ell^+\ell^- (\ell = \mu,e)$ and point to two phenomena that arise when new sources of CP violation are included. First, the Wilson coefficients $C_{9\ell}$ and $C_{10\ell}$ become complex, and we show how we can extract their values from measurements of direct and mixing-induced CP asymmetries. Second, new sources of CP violation can generate nontrivial lepton flavour universality violation. Such a violation is usually measured through ratios like $R_K$ and $R_{K^*}$, but we show that measuring only these ratios leaves a large parameter space unexplored. These results bring exciting opportunities to reveal New Physics effects in the high-precision era.

Abstract:Direct CP violation beyond the standard model can be produced in charged D decays to final states with a $K_S$ by small new physics contributions to the transitions $D^+ \to K^o X^+$, where $X^+$ denotes any positively charged hadronic state or transitions $D^+ \to K^o \bar K^o K^{(*)+}$, where $K^{(*)+}$ denotes any positive strange state. These transitions are doubly-Cabibbo suppressed and color suppresed in the standard model and branching ratios are experimentally observed to be suppressed by two orders of magnitude relative to the allowed $D^+ \to \bar K^o X^+$ or $D^+ \to \bar K^o \bar K^o K^{(*)+}$, branching ratio. An even smaller new physics contribution might produce an observable CP asymmetry in $D^\pm \to K_S X^\pm$ or $D^{\pm} \to K_S K_S K^{(*)\pm}$ decays. Since such asymmetries are easily checked in the early stages of any charm production experiment, it seems worth while to check them before the opportunity is lost in later stages of the analysis, even if no theoretical model predicts such an asymmetry.

Abstract:We study the branching ratios, the direct CP asymmetries in $B\to K^{(*)}\bar{K}^{(*)}$ decays and the polarization fractions of $B\to K^{*}\bar{K}^{*}$ decays by employing the QCD factorization in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with R-parity violation. We derive the new upper bounds on the relevant R-parity violating couplings from the latest experimental data of $B\to K^{(*)}\bar{K}^{(*)}$, and some of these constraints are stronger than the existing bounds. Using the constrained parameter spaces, we predict the R-parity violating effects on the other quantities in $B\to K^{(*)}\bar{K}^{(*)}$ decays which have not been measured yet. We find that the R-parity violating effects on the branching ratios and the direct $CP$ asymmetries could be large, nevertheless their effects on the longitudinal polarizations of $B\to K^{*}\bar{K}^{*}$ decays are small. Near future experiments can test these predictions and shrink the parameter spaces.

Several methods are described for testing the Kobayashi-Maskawa single phase origin of CP violation in B decays, pointing out some limitations due to hadronic uncertainties. Abstract:The BESIII detector on the BEPCII collider collected the world's largest dataset at the peaks of $J/\psi$, $\psi(3686)$ and $\psi(3770)$. The use of polarization and entanglement states in multidimensional angular distribution analysis can provide new probes to the production and decay characteristics of hyperon anti hyperon pairs. In a recent series of studies, significant transverse polarization in hyperon decay has been observed in $J/\psi$, $\psi(3686)$ decaying into the $\Lambda\bar\Lambda$, $\Sigma^+\bar\Sigma^{-}$, $\Xi^0\bar\Xi^0$ and $\Xi^-\bar\Xi^{+}$ final states. The weak decay parameters of hyperons and antihyperons are also independently determined for the first time. The most accurate testing for direct $CP$ violation has been achieved based on the measured weak decay parameters.

In particular, we estimate characteristic values of the angles of the unitarity triangle and show that sizeable CP-violating effects result from $B-\bar B$ mixing only.
