Abstract:Three gaps permanent magnet contactor was a new type of energy saving contactor,comparing with the existing permanent magnet contactor,it didn't require protection when winding loses the voltage.The configura-tion and principle of the permanent magnet contactor was introduced,the magnetic field and the static characteristic calculated by using 3D finite element method.The effect of the geometric paraneter on static characteristic was ana-lyzed,and the specific feature was proposed for this permanent magnet contactor as well.
