Abstract:There has been a tremendous change in the world higher education in the past decades.Such a change has taken place under the general background of globalization and accelerating development in sciences and technologies.The basic current lies in its publicity,life-long learning,information-orientation,and internationalization.The principal trend is as follows: tightening association of universities with the society,advocating students' self participation,enlarging their knowledge areas,reforming the fostering patterns,advancing assessment and feedback,and setting up quality guarantee systems.And the fundamental experience is: openness,cooperation of industry,learning and research,and establishing academic centers.
