Abstract:Rural planning and construction carries influential natural, economic, social and cultural connotation. The problem of rural features deficiency has prevailed in current Chinese rural planning and construction practice. Based on the problems revealed in rural planning and construction process in Zhejiang Province in China, the article presented a way of recognizing different rural landscape styles, and put forward guiding ideas and spatial strategies for the planning and construction of rural features, from the perspective of ecological system, production system, and living system (namely “EPL” system). Such research might provide guidance for the current construction of Chinese rural features.

Abstract:The environmental deterioration and economic delay hinders sustainable development in rural areas.Taking Hongya County as an example,this paper analyzes the agricultural characteristics in the mountain areas,points out the problems existed in the ecological demonstration area,and discusses the construction ways of ecological demonstration area in the mountain area under local conditions.It has a good popularization value and reference meaning to the economic development and environment control in the other mountain areas.

Abstract:There are many rural building in China,most of them have high energy consumption without good energy saving design.The investigation of energy consumption in hot summer and cold winter regions is less than cold winter regions.Based on this current situation,questionnaires are delivered to three typical village.It is used to show the living environment and energy consumption in Hangzhou.Computer simulation and experiment are used to evaluate the living environment.Proper measure should be taken to improve the living environment of new countryside in Hangzhou.Furthermore,the achievement of the research will be beneficial to the development of Chinese new country construction.

Abstract:With the gradual development of the new rural construction, and the continuous improvement of the rural per capita living space, sustainable development of the rural living environment is becoming an increasingly urgent task. This paper selected three different terrain villages in the rural area of Hangzhou as a study object, which located in the Middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River. Firstly, the investigation, collection and analysis on the building status, energy data and residents' subjective feeling of the three villages had been done through basic research and sampling questionnaire. Secondly, it selected two typical housing in each village, separately carried on the measurement of the building physical environment and computer quantitative simulation of the ventilation, lighting, and energy consumption, along with the comprehensive evaluation with the simulation results. Finally, the major existing problems of the living environment in the rural areas have been found, according to which some operable implementation strategy and policy Suggestions have been put forward.

Abstract:The measures for optimizing the land utilization and structure were put forward according to the analysis of the relation between the land utilization and environmental construction in Shangqiu city.The eco-environment bearing capacity of land resources was analyzed by using the ecological environment vulnerability assessment.The result showed that land environment of Shangqiu city was in a weak balanceable phases,the ability of maintaining system homeostasis was weak and anti-jamming ability was also weak.

Abstract:Nowadays,such contradiction exists in our land resource utilization on one hand the use of rural land resources is extensive and inefficient. On the other hand the supply of urban land resources is in shortage. In order to solve this contradiction, we should to improve the efficiency of land, use in rural areas. Only in this way we can take a road sustainable development of land resources. This paper takes the new rural construction of Wuhan for example. It analyses the efforts on sustainable land use in rural areas under the background of new countryside construction. It also makes he evaluation of the effect of sustainable use of rural land in Wuhan by the projection pursuit classing evaluation model. At last, we have an inclusion that remote rural area is not suitable for the homestead exchange project. The inclusion is instructively significant for the future research.

Abstract:Resources are basic requirements for the construction of eco-cities and are important limitations for urban development.When making protective strategies for sustainable utilization of resources in constructing eco-city,the quantity of resources and the conflict between resource conditions and development of urban society and economy should be considered synthetically.Based on the profound connotation of eco-city,the scope on sustainable utilization of resources should be extended.People should focus on natural and biological resources,and also on human resources.We must pay adequate attention to cultures of a city by inheriting and protecting them in constructing eco-city. As a case,Changzhou was studied in relation to sustainable utilization of land,water resource,biological resources,and human resources,and a conceptual planning was established,which provided important guarantee for utilizing resource advantage to obtain its ecological and environmental benefits.

Abstract:In order to ensure China, a populous country, to develop in a sustainable way, it is an urgent task to disseminate the concept of sustainability and put it into practice for urban construction. However, it is impossible for China to simply copy the experiences of developed countries, since China has the higher population and building density and less availability of reusable energy per square meter floor area. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the sustainable building technologies applicable to various climate regions, economic conditions, and residential customs in China, as well as sustainable to the most occupants and owners. Based on an introduction of the current situation of the development of construction industry and the energy consumption of buildings in China, this paper analyses the requirements, characteristics, standards for sustainable housing and urban construction, and recommends series of technical approaches along with different phases of sustainable design and construction, which strengthen a good cooperation among researchers, designers and constructors of different majors including architecture, planning, building physics, building services, and so on. Moreover, some issues, which need further research and especially handling, are pointed out along with the recommendations. Finally, policy issue related with the sustainable development of urban construction in China is discussed.

Abstract:Abstract With the introduction of a series of policies such as rural revitalization, beautiful rural areas, and a comprehensive well-off society, the concept of green development of rural housing has attracted widespread attention. The green development of rural houses can effectively slow down the speed of global climate warming, reduce environmental pollution, reduce energy consumption of buildings and achieve sustainable development of buildings. Abstract:Energy Exploration &Exploitation, Ahead of Print. With the continuous development of urbanization in our country, the contradiction between the protection of traditional village heritage architecture and the development of modern urban lifestyle is becoming increasingly prominent. With the introduction of China's rural revitalization strategy, improving the rural living environment, promoting sustainable development, utilizing renewable energy for power supply, and achieving low-carbon architecture have become particularly important. This article investigates the relationship between solar energy system and site layout in illustrative historic buildings, and uses thermal-economic methods for feasibility analysis of such old building retrofitting program toward nearly zero energy construction. The preliminary results indicate that integrating solar panel roof with old building body for renewable energy exploitation can achieve good economic benefits while reducing carbon dioxide emissions. This work provides reference insights into the sustainable transformation of traditional rural heritage conservation buildings in our country and proposes feasible solutions to reconcile the contradiction between the preservation of traditional architectural heritage and sustainable modernization demands.

Abstract:At present, with the continuous deterioration of the ecological environment and the gradual deepening of human understanding of the relationship between man and nature, the construction of an ecological city has become the trend and inevitable urban construction in the future. Finding harmonious development among cities, human beings, and the natural environment through the construction of the ecological environment is an inevitable choice for human and urban development. In order to provide sufficient theoretical exploration for the construction of ecological cities, this paper first introduced the two important concepts of ecological environment and environmental engineering and the necessity of ecological construction. On the basis of this, it analyzes the various obstacles and predicaments in the current construction of ecological cities and achieves the purpose of clarifying the problems; finally, it proposes corresponding countermeasures[1].
