The effect of different dose of human chorionic gonadotropin on the gersults of the oocyte maturation and IVF/ICSI-ET

Abstract:Objective To study the effects of different doses of hCG on oocyte maturation and in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer. Methods A retrospective analysis of 260 IVF / ICSI-ET cycles,by intramuscular injection of hCG dose into group of10000IU,group of 8000IU,group of 6000IU,and the egg maturation rate,fertilization rate,cleavage rate,pregnancy rate,OHSS occurred rate,OHSS to cancel cycle rate of three groups were observed. Results The difference between three groups of body mass index,24hours before the OPU day the blood hCG values were not statistically significant( P > 0. 05). The difference between three groups of patients age,the number of ≥ 14mm follicle,LH value,E2value,P value on the day of injection hCG,P and E2values of the OPU Day were statistically significant( P < 0. 05). The difference of fertilization rate,cleavage rate,OHSS incidence,OHSS canceled cycle rate between three groups were statistically significant( P < 0. 05). The difference between three groups of oocyte maturation rate,pregnancy rate were not statistically significant( P > 0. 05). Conclusion Reducing the dose of hCG injections can improve the rate of egg maturation,fertilization rate,cleavage rate,OHSS incidence,OHSS cycle cancellation rate,but no effect on the pregnancy rate.
