Abstract:The EMI filter is commonly used for the suppression of conducted interferance on power supply lines.This paper presents the basic structure and insertion loss of EMI filters.Then the method of calculation of insertion loss under the condition of EMI test is emphati- cally introduced.In consideration of the EMI standard of the conducted emission of vehicle devices,the needed insertion loss is cal- culated.Then components for the EMI filter are chosen and a prototype EMI filter is built,and the correctness of EMI filter design method is verified by the EMC test.
